    I wanted a monitor to connect with the Mac Book Pro laptop, which has a 13" screen. The Samsung 27" monitor that I purchased came with directions for installation, but assumed that someone more knowledgeable than I am would be installing it. Since it was an open-box purchase with an excellent rating and a steeply discounted price, I purchased it. When it arrived, I couldn't tell which of the several cables was the one I needed to connect the laptop and monitor, and I couldn't figure out where the port for the cable was on the laptop. Fortunately, I have younger relatives who have many more years of experience with these issues, and one of them was able to hook it up for me.

    My son uses it for gaming. I havent heard him yell that its "lagging" so it must be working well
