The monitor itself works great but I am not happy I purchased it. I plan on returning it for a Monitor more suited for my needs. I was talked into it by the salesman as if the increase in price was worth it in the long run. He new my needs. After I got it I spoke with Multiple people including other Best Buy employees and my inkling was right that this monitor is not necessary for me. I will be returning it for a more suitable option.

This monitor by Samsung is pretty awesome. That max 240Hz refresh rate is so smooth it's crazy. Its definitely and upgrade from my 60hz old one. I didn't notice any blurs nor lag whatsoever and the 27" screen size helps not having to get close to the monitor to see objects and items. The colors are so vibrant and brilliant, it looks so amazing.
Out of the box, plug it in and it started up right away. I haven't done any adjustments to it yet and I don't think I will have to. I think this new monitor is somewhere in the middle of the Odyssey series. I was blown away by its performance and how well everything looked on screen.
It retails for $399 USD for the 27" version. They also make a 25" one but I think I'm glad that I got this one. The panel is an IPS and LED back lit. Max res is 1080 with a 1ms (GTG) response time. It comes with Display Port and HDMI cables. It has dual HDMI 2.0 ports, a DisplayPort 1.2 connection and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. Max brightness is 600 cd/m2.
Overall, I really like this monitor a lot. And I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a 240hz 27" monitor.

everything feels like plastic, I had it for a day and returned it the next, was expecting a good 240hz monitor, using the correct wiring and all it was not capabale of reaching 160hz.

work really really good for like 6 mo. once that 6 mo marker passed it seem that the screen flickers now while playing games. if you like monitors replaced every 6 months great buy. look somewhere else for a quality monitor these aint lasting the test of time

I did order pick up for a new gaming monitor and the store rep placed an open box gaming monitor in my back seat. They charged me the price of a new monitor.

I have no odea if this is worki g. My docking station will not work and tech support us unable to figure out why it wont work. I will bring everything back to the store to return

Screens are different colors had to return not the first time this has happen with Samsung screens

It’s been about 3 years since I upgraded my gaming monitor. After seeing the quality of the gameplay on the Samsung Odyssey I wish I would have done it sooner.
This monitor is 27 inches, which in my opinion is the sweet spot for gaming monitors. I play a lot of FPS and the size is perfect. The monitor comes with an HDMI cable and a DVI cable so you’ll be able to use the input that you would like. The screen is adjustable in height, can tilt and also be turned to horizon view. Set up is essentially plug and play. There’s a QR code to register you product but no additional downloads.
The main thing that I noticed when playing was how smooth the gameplay looked. The 240 hz refresh rate is a game changer. I play at 120 fps and it looked incredible going from 144 Hz to 240 Hz. I was playing Destiny 2 and it looked like an upgraded version of the game. It’s so hard to explain but the movement looked so good that I had to readjust my play style to hit shots. Everything looked smooth and fast. The colors popped and made me notice things in game that I hadn’t noticed in 100s of game hours. Blacks were dark, bright colors really stood out. There’s no lag time between gameplay and what appears on screen. Lastly, the monitor looks very upscale while sitting on your desk. I know that’s not too important but you want something that looks classy in your gaming setup.
I honestly didn’t realize how much of difference an upgraded monitor would make. It has made my gaming experience much better. I absolutely recommend picking up this Samsung Odyssey gaming monitor.
