Monitor works great, the quality is very high, high fps, and the response time is very fast. I can’t think of anything bad to say about this monitor but I think the UI for the monitor settings could be a little better

Bought this monitor due to my old monitor being old and this one is 240hz so I also got an upgrade on the hz works amazingly. I 110% recommend this monitor and it’s very affordable.

Got this gaming monitor for half off. Very happy I was able to keep 240 fps and get a nice screen size with it. Works perfect. 0 issues with it. Very nice monitor for gaming or watching videos.

This monitor is excellent while we use it with our Xbox series S. The series S cannot take advantage of 4K but is awesome because of the 120hz refresh rate. This beautiful monitor looks great had zero blemishes (dead pixels) and has worked so well with the Xbox. We used the Xbox on a huge tv but the 1ms is so critical for games such as COD, or sports games, rocket league etc etc. all you have to do is use a monitor with the 1ms refresh and you will never want to go to a tv again as competitively there is nothing more important that having that advantage. Now back to the monitor. Very nice construction, great base piece, nice controls on the bottom to adjust things easily. Also surprisingly they give you an excellent quality hdmi and also if you are hooking up with a computer they include the better option (display port cable). The black and whites on the screen are vibrant (to my eyes), I didn’t have to adjust anything at all out of the box. Really no negatives that I can say besides maybe speakers? But what monitors include speakers anymore and why not use your own headphones or speakers anyway…

Summary: The Samsung - 27" Odyssey G40B with 240hz refresh rate is a pretty decent gaming monitor coming from a 34" 60hz work monitor. Scrolling and moving objects are noticeably smoother. MAKE SURE YOU USE THE DISPLAY CABLE AND NOT HDMI TO ENABLE ADAPTIVE-SYNC or else you're not using the full potential of the the monitor. Perfect size for gaming or being productive in a work from home setup. Samsung's menu system on this monitor is not so intuitive and can take a little getting use to and even reading the manual. Color looks to be good but you'll have to fiddle around with the presets/custom settings. Overall not a bad choice if you're looking for a mid level gaming monitor. In the box: Odyssey G4 Monitor Rear monitor bezel Power brick Display and HDMI cable User Interface: The Samsung UI can be confusing at first but after some poking around I quickly got used to the menu system, like most UI, the center button is the menu access button and using the 4 surrounding buttons to navigate through the menu system. You'll have to mess around with the UI to get used to it, I really didn't have any issues finding what I needed. Conclusion: After some testing like the standard UFO monitor test, it confirmed the monitor refresh rate was 240 capable. If you want the most out of the monitor make sure to use compatible GPU, updated drivers and importantly the Display cable; some people think they can get away with using an HDMI cable. I'd recommend this monitor.

Good quality, easy setup and a very nice monitor. I love the versatility of it as it can be adjusted up and down and can go from lanscape to portrait.

It's important to note that while this monitor is excellent, it won't drastically improve your gaming skill level on its own. Ultimately, your performance depends on your individual abilities.

Overall great experience. On sale, this is a fantastic pick up for 1080 gaming @240, with great features to further enhance your experience. Other models tend to target towards better resolutions, but you immediately get remissions in output performance, both in clarity and response time of the screen. When trying to find a good middle ground monitor, this is the one.
