    Design flaw and warranty nightmare.

    The 5 heavy metal gas knobs are mounted on fragile plastic stems. The stems break easily when removing to clean. Bad enough. Worse yet was the experience with a warranty claim. Three very time consuming calls sending pictures and purchase receipts over four weeks. Received message denying claim. Never had a problem with LG products.

    The black stainless steel fades off. I would recommend avoiding it . It ages super quick too …

    Don't buy this product, just bought 20 days back and stainless steel is peeled off. Cheap materials used for this product.

And I want to apologize if the knob of your range broke in the first month. Regarding your concern about the knobs being stock and don’t turn. The knobs on Samsung ranges are designed to meet the requirements set by international standards, which requires a two-factor mechanism. This means two movements are simultaneously required to turn on an element: pushing in and turning. The knob will not turn unless force is being applied to push it inwards. All ranges with knobs must meet this standard and Samsung is no exception.

    We have two right burners and they are clearly a different color and don’t fit right. When we went curbside to pick up the griddle was covering it. Called Saturday after install and left message for department manager when associate could not help me. No return call so I called. TJ was not helpful and twice brought up that I saw it before my purchase.

    The entire store overheats - the front and knobs are untouchable when cooking. its the worst stove i've ever had. I would give this stove 0 Starts if it was not mandatory to put at least 1 Star.

    Great upgrade to existing cooktop

    My first gas cooktop was a GE profile - 4 burners, 30". I learned to cook on this and it was mostly loved. Because the knobs were on the side of the cooktop, grate space was limited. I have nice cookware and the GE wasn't up to par and parts were starting to go out; so I replaced it with this. I was concerned that perhaps I needed the 36" Samsung, but didn't want to redo my drown draft. I also considered a rangetop, but the husband didn't want to cut the countertop. He also read that retrofitting a rangetop is a pain. So, I looked at as many 30" cooktops as I could find. Unfortunately, I could not find this Samsung nor any model similar to view. But, I wanted the knobs on the front to maximize the grate size. Some of the "higher end" 30" cooktops felt cheaply made. The knobs felt cheap and the grates seemed of poor quality. I liked the btu claim of this model and ordered from Best Buy due to the financing; and ability to return. There are cheaper 30" cooktops available, but this one looked to fit my desires on paper. My existing down draft is RIGHT behind the cooktop, so I had to have the wifi module removed; as the wifi module - and even the cap - would have prevented the downdraft from moving up/down. This was a pain as the Samsung's cooktop pieces didn't seem to want to screw back together; after the module was removed. The husband was not happy with this. I think the instructions said to apply the foam tape to the unit, but the husband applied the foam to the countertop. The foam raised the cooktop up too much, was visible and looked to create a debris trap, so he removed the foam all together. The installation brackets were also a joke and prevented the cooktop from sitting flush to the countertop. Perhaps the weight of the grates would eventually mold/bend the cooktop to my countertop, but the husband created his own brackets and it was successfully installed. This process took about 2.5 hours, and includes the 45 min visit to plumbing store for connectors. The power cord is VERY short, sort of limiting the cabinet space, so I will connect it and the downdraft power cord to a surge protector with a longer cord; moving both out of the way of cabinet storage. The included griddle is small, but seems well built; aluminum handles and cast iron cooking surface. The btu output is amazing. I don't think my GE actually had it's claimed output. The Samsung is perfect for my needs.

    We needed a new range for our brand new kitchen and this range using natural gas was perfect for it . Installation went smoothly , and it fits snugly and looks great in place. In use our range gives off a very slight odor which is easily taken away by our fan. Moving pans around is easy enough with the grates, which are heavy but perfect for keeping everything in place. The controls are easy to read and set.

    I love it very sleek I have not tried the wireless thing yet really not sure that is even necessary. Only issue I think I will have is the knobs keeping them clean. Tried the griddle today it was nice - heats a little uneven but that is to be expected. The other burners are terrific this is much better than my last unit!!!

    This cooktop is a joy to use; the brass burners produce a very even flame and heat. It's easy to figure out and clean for the most part. It's also versatile and comes with a griddle component. All in all, a beautiful piece of kitchen appliance.

    AVOID! Cheap Finish and Ignitors Don't Last!

    I am furious and completely disgusted. When I bought this cooktop a few years ago, I chose the black stainless finish to carefully match the rest of my kitchen appliances, thinking I was making a smart, long-term investment for my home and family. What a mistake! Today, all five of the illuminated knobs are bubbling and peeling like cheap plastic left out in the sun. It looks horrendous, an eyesore in the middle of my kitchen that I now have to look at every single day. And when I tried to replace them? Samsung has the audacity to charge half the price of the entire cooktop just for five replacement knobs. Are you kidding me? That’s corporate exploitation, plain and simple. But it gets worse, the ignitor on the center burner, the main one we use, has completely failed. This isn't just a cosmetic issue anymore. It’s a total functional failure of what was supposed to be a premium appliance. This cooktop was a major investment for our family. We saved, planned, and trusted the Samsung name to deliver quality and durability. Instead, we got cheap materials, overpriced parts, and a complete lack of accountability. Shame on you, Samsung. This is not just disappointing, it’s an outright betrayal of your customer's trust. I will never buy another Samsung appliance again, and I’ll make sure everyone I know hears why. I will include this review at the place we purchased as well.

    Smart cooktop. Heats up quickly. Unfortunately aftet some use, a burner cap showed heat discoloration. Love the blu lights especially when using. Includes wok stand and griddle.

    Not Delivered - Buy this Somewhere Else

    This item was supposed to be delivered to my house yesterday, I contacted best buy when I couldn’t track it - twice after I was told it was still on its way thst it was a glitch with the system and they were still in their way. An hour after the delivery window ended i was finally told the item was not available at the warehouse and I should habmve been notified delivery was rescheduled for the 26th. Today i called to cancel this order because installation, delivery, and hail away requires 3 separate appointments and given how poorly the first attempt went its not worth the hassle. I contacted Best Buy today to cancel the order via chat and i am told i need to call to cancel bc the order is in progress - I called twice as I am being told they are cancelling the order i am hung up on. The third time I call back (mind you wziting on hold and going through all the menus every time) i get someone that telks me they have to wait 24-48 hours to cancel the order. Personally I will not purchase another appliance from Best Buy but i woukd definitely recommend against buying this type of item in the OKC area bc they can’t install and apparently cant deliver, and will continually jerk you around when you try to get a refund.

    plastic knob parts

    I've had this cooktop for a few years and at first was happy with it, since what it replaced (GE cooktop) seemed under powered. A knob has broken and in examining it, I have found that it is made with plastic and metal. For such a small cooking surface, using larger pans, the knobs are going to come into contact with the cooking vessels. A replacement knob is $150. I'm not sure that there was another better option when I bought this cooktop, but this engineering is a joke. I could see using this on a rangetop but a cooktop - seriously?? I will not buy another Samsung appliance again, and hope the matching microwave oven that I bought lasts longer than this knob did.
