I really like the picture quality of this Samsung. Also like the new tech. Very enjoyable. The only downfall i see is the size. I had a previous 75" Samsung tv and i know it was bigger then this one. If i knew this i would of gone bigger. Eh, next time. Other then that, love it!

Absolute Lemon!!! Samsung has a known issue with the TV not turning on after sitting idle for sometime. Its still getting produced and sold to customers. The only way to turn it on is by unplugging it. Thats pretty ridiculous for a $3000 plus TV. I’ve had mine exchanged three times and literally the latest one started the issue 5 days after getting replaced. Its getting returned for good this time.. Calling the Manager later…

I have tried quite a few TV's to replace an older TCL 6 series. I have been hesitant to try Samsung because they don't support Dolby Vision. I have used the LG OS, Roku, and Google TV OS.
The good:
-Amazing picture and brightness. I was concerned because this set is near the bottom of PQ EOTF tracking so the picture is NOT close to what the creator intended. But it still looks great. If you want the most accurate, use Filmmaker mode.
-Really don't miss Dolby Vision due to the brightness.
-One Connect box is pretty cool for reducing clutter.
-If you have a Samsung phone or SmartThings it really fits the ecosystem well.
The bad:
-The six button remote is terrible. It takes multiple presses and the direction pad to get to anything more than channel and volume. For a TV this costly you should get the full featured remote that costs $40 included.
-Samsung seems to be the only manufacturer that doesn't display a banner for a few seconds indicating HDR content. It takes 3 presses and an info button for HDMI sources. For TV native apps that info doesn't work at all and you have to look at picture settings.
- For me, Tizen OS is terrible. There is no easy way to access sources. The interface is cluttered and it takes a few steps to arrange apps. The continue watching is overshadowed by Samsungs own channel app. Since there is one button to get to all adjustments to picture it takes a lot of presses to just change from standard to Filmmaker mode.
-Even though I only have my receiver attached to the E-ARC input, the tv just doesn't see that as an active source. It's an HDMI 2.1 input and you do have to turn on E-ARC but it works terribly and usually throws up an error that it doesn't detect a source.
-Sound! Sometimes there is audio and sometimes it just isn't there. The fix is to back out of the show or app and restart the program. I've had this happen for apps on the TV (Netflix, Prime, YTTV) and on my streaming devices (Nvidia Shield and Firestick). There is no pattern to it. It has the latest firmware but I have seen multiple posts about the issue. Very annoying.
-The rainbow refractions on the wide angle coating is pretty annoying if you have multiple windows during the day. You really only notice it with a dark background.

Fraamus,
We appreciate your feedback on connectivity and responsiveness, and for optimal performance, we ask that you please ensure you've got the latest firmware version installed on your QN95B TV. You can check this by going to: Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update.
You may also want to further optimize performance with the self-diagnostic tool, which checks memory, frees up unused cached memory, and closes background apps. Go to: Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Device Care > Start Device Care
Please know you can quickly access your TV Settings by pressing the Settings/Number/Color button (below the power button) on your remote. Quick Settings can be used to quickly configure frequently used functions, and each time you press this button, the Settings menu/Virtual number pad/Color pad options are displayed alternately. 1. Press the Settings/Number/Color button on your remote. 2. Press the UP directional button on your remote. When you press this button, the Settings menu/Virtual number pad/Color pad are displayed. 3. From the Settings menu, you can quickly set the options of your frequently used functions. For advanced settings, select All Settings.
If the audio drop issue you've mentioned is happening when connected via HDMI, the HDMI cable is most likely the cause. We recommend you replace the HDMI cable with a High-Speed cable with Ethernet Channel, labeled as HEC or HEAC on the cable.
Lastly, please also know that your TV is engineered with Anti-Reflection Technology designed to minimize ambient light reflections. We understand that light conditions of each room environment are different. For optimal glare control, we recommend repositioning the TV to minimize incident light falling on the screen or consulting a professional installer.

Amazing Gaming TV!
Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.
Game Mode: I have a gaming PC with a RTX 3080 and was able to test 2k/4k games at 144hz with VRR. I have a Samsung Odyssey G7 for competitive games. For non-competitive games I love how immersive the TV is. Dynamic Black Equalizer is a great feature to show the enemies that camp in dark corners.
Game Hub: You can play Xbox Game Pass games on the TV without an Xbox!
Brightness: Man this TV is so bright right out of the box, I had to dial it down. I didn’t even notice the lights on the ball in Rocket League with the OLED or gaming monitor until this TV.
Local Dimming Zones: When the picture goes from dark to light, I noticed a slow fade into the bright image. There is still some blooming, but Samsung has made a HUGE improvement.
Video Quality: It is impossible to match the detail in dark scenes of an OLED, but it is still quite satisfying. The pop from brightness makes this TV a different animal than OLED.
Audio: The Dolby Atmos audio on this TV is amazing and the best I’ve ever had on any TV.
Viewing Angle: The colors stay true at extreme viewing angles, but blooming gets a little worse off angle.
Anti-reflective filter: This is one of the best anti-reflective filters I’ve seen on a TV.
Adaptive Picture and Sound+: I turned off the Adaptive Picture because I like to have a constant brightness. The Active Voice Amplifier and Adaptive Sound+ made a huge improvement on sound quality.
One Connect Box: The One Connect box is such a great addition for wall mounting. All of the cables can be run to the remotely located One Connect box, so only one cable needs to be ran between the box and TV.
Remote Control: Its small and feels too light and cheap. I’m scared it’s going to break.
Dolby Vision: Dolby Vision is not supported, but HDR 10+ is still pretty good.
Weight: This TV is heavy! I had to get my brother to help me carry it up the stairs and assemble it. A 77” OLED is 54 lbs and this 75” QLED is 91 lbs. The stand is a lot heavier which helps me sleep at night knowing that the TV is supported well.
Samsung TV Plus: I didn’t know the TV was going to come with free TV channels which is a nice perk.
Menu: The menu didn’t bother me like it does for a lot of people. If you don’t like it, just buy an Nvidia Shield or something.
Overall: You can’t go wrong with the 2022 QLED QN95B, an OLED, or QD-OLED this year. TV’s have come a long way. However, if you are a gamer and are scared of OLED burn-in like myself I’d definitely get this TV. You won’t regret it!

Top-tier beast

What an upgrade from my Samsung UN55J6300 55” 1080p TV from about 7 years ago to this 75” 4K top tier beast. By far one of the best non-OLED 4k premium TVs on the market in 2022.
The initial set-up was quick and easy for a large TV with pop-out foam cushions to install the stand while the TV is standing. Once the TV was situated in place the Slim One Connect box sits behind hidden on the back of the stand which made it a breeze to connect my devices and keep the cables hidden.
Once powered on the setup was very quick and easy with no technical experience required even my 11-year-old understood the steps. The remote is super slim, rechargeable via a solar panel on the back or type C charger.
Probably one of the brightest out of the box TVs I have known to date compared with my others 2 TV’s. This is largely due to Samsung’s Quantum HDR 32x technology and Certified HDR10+ included in this panel giving the TV an ultra-bright display. The picture clarity was perfect with some slight glow/halo but expected being a non-individually lit pixel OLED panel, but the Quantum Matrix with Mini LED technology sets apart far beyond a regular LED TV. The color and contrast are exceptional and at the right viewing distance you almost feel you in the picture – my wife’s words!
The overall look at feel of the TV is premium, ultra slim due to the one-connect box and what Samsung calls the Infinity One Design. It really stands out as sleek compared to other comparable size displays.
Navigating through Samsung’s new updated UI was smooth and snappy due to the premium hardware such as the Neural Quantum Processor and fast 120Hz/144Hz display which is available on all 4 HDMI ports too. I am yet to test the 144Hz in gaming mode, but I have experienced this on my sons 55” 4k/120Hz Bedroom TV and so I know this will only up the experience further on a larger much faster display.
The sound quality is crisp and something new to me is the TV comes with built in woofers giving those subtle mids and lows typically not heard from a TV combined with the TVs built in Dolby Atmos and 3D sound, it is like having a built-in sound bar, making the movie experience phenomenal. I later setup my existing Dolby Atmos sound bar which the TV detected by brand effortlessly via eARC and it just blew me away.
Overall, seeing this TV in action you will appreciate why its far more premium then a 75” TV at half its price, you will not look back and its worth every penny.

Great picture, with self-adjusting brightness level. The folks at Best Buy recommended Samsung QLED since we have a room with varying light levels from sunlight or inside lights. They were right! Sound quality is okay though we may eventually add a sound bar. This model is quite heavy/awkward and definitely takes two people to lift. Samsung should add some type of handles to the back and bottom to facilitate lifting. The stand is quite sturdy, though we purchased a separate strap to secure it to the wall so as not to tip forward. Delivery/haul away process was great!

Overall a great tv, with awesome pixture quailty.
Down sides i found are , it sometimes does not wnat to turn on, and needs a power reset. Simple as unpluging and pluging back in.
But annyoing for sure.
Lastly whwn comparing against other tvs instore its really easy to see how much better this one is.
But once its home im not sure you would truly know and could save a couple bucks for a little lesser model.

Overall just spectacular with a couple caveats.
Met my top requirements including Anti Glare. This achieves that in my bright room my layering glass without cutting down on brightness. A lot of TV's have similar common features so went with the quality of Samsung.
BONUS. The One Connect box is great for connecting various peripheral devices. Not having to crawl behind the set to play around with wiring is crazy good. For wall mounting this will be very beneficial.
I wanted to eliminate the need for the firestick/Roku for streaming. I came from a Vizio which is pathetic for built in apps. The Samsung does most of that. See below for limitations on that.
I don't want to change my 5 star rating but there are a couple things I'd was less than impressed with.
* The remote is way too minimalist for the cost of this TV. You'll want to grab a $8 Samsung compatible remote on Amazon with more features/buttons.
* Setup. Doco that come with this TV is disappointing. I had to watch a couple You tubes to get more info in install and operations..
It comes without a user manual. There is one built in to the TV/support but doesn't work until you get setup. You can google and get a E-Manual. Why not put a reference to the on-line manual in the quick start guide.
Samsung Apps. You can get most of what you need but Samsung limits you to their supported apps and browser. I can't get any other browser, like google/Firefox. I could not get my Digital TV app "Tablo".
There are workarounds for most of the drawbacks so I'm sticking with my rating. I have the movie theater in my living room.

I really really really was impressed with this set. Screen was clean, no DSE, brilliant use of backlight control that all but eliminated bloom which when it did show always felt very much like an anomaly, was never close to bloom as its known now and was never more than in one oddball spot in the black bars for who knows why and gone immediately often before the scene had changed. Specular highlights have now actually been seen for the first time for me in a context that was without question obvious, gorgeous and appreciated. I have owned the Q90A, Q90B and right now am experiencing the LG C2 OLED which is pretty amazing in some ways at some times under certain conditions but does not do HDR and should not be alllowed to use it for advertising at all. I like the abundance of menu choices and control that is the Sammy sets main drawback for me especially now with the new tiizen that is truly an annoying button mashing laggy haul to get to the very few actual options that are available once you arrive. Thanks Samsung but please do not reply and tell me about any settings options or customizations as you’ve already done so and I’ve been all up and in your products for many hours with each of the 3 sets I mentioned. There are none I’m not aware of. I’ve been a long time Samsung guy and owned many before these 3 and a stable of others of there lineup now. The mini led sets are as of now my favorites hands down. Honestly wish I had kept the 90A it’s was a flawless display and extremely good but I’d come back to Sammy from a Sony master class and the lack of picture changing options made me feel handcuffed and locked out of everything but one thing at a time prompted the 90B which was dead center of the bad firmware issues and panel issues so I’m not going to say much more than I was disappointed and thought I’d be waiting for 2023. Then the QN95B drops and minutes later so did my bank account. It was the one I was convinced. Blew the 90A out of the water, infinity design while not necessary or a selling point for me certainly was attractive, the one connect box is useless and only creates more cluster and unfortunately caused me the dreaded problem that saw me leave Samsung for the Sony 900E. Xbox game play dropouts. It was perfect for 3 weeks with no dropouts, still thought the one connect box a big clunky gimmick that was more work than anything and was comical and ironic to me with the clip on to the stand and back of the set to me. What is the point of this thing if its going to pull on one side of your tv or be within inches of where inputs are on all sets today. Really useless and space consuming not saving unless it’s on the floor or you buy a 3rd party longer one connect cord hide it in the kitchen but now you’ve got a bunch of long hdmi cords too and you’ve gained some signal loss. Back to the picture. It was pretty much perfect and handled everything from crap cable to series x barbecue bright games with ease. I was finally done looking and found my set. Until I began to use the TVs speakers on their own. The first few minutes were decent though nothing like Sony’s use of the sound coming from the appropriate area of the screen, never have I heard OTS period. It did sound good though until at volume 13 some bass came in and turned my new tv into a rattling nasty disappointment. I have a massive klipsch/ Harmon kardon setup and a mid levek klipsch sound bar as well. Both are awesome but there is a large portion of time that I don’t want floor shaking sound, that I’m simply watching tv or gaming and don’t need nor want my ears being consumed and useless for anything else. The speakers look cool on the back but that’s where that ends. It drive me nuts that my $4500 set sounded like something in a dirty garage of an old gas station. This was close to when unfortunately this excellent set bit the dust and was the end of my foray back into Samsung. I started playing a few different games titles rather the one I’d finally beaten. Picture drop outs? Again? Then again and again and it was over all over for me. Samsung why must you do these things? The C2 is also a loser in the end. I love it. Mostly. Except I have a moderately lit living room during the day that makes it look dull at its highest burn in inducing settings and that’s the end of OLED for me too. The babysitting and safer settings are absolutely not worth dealing with for me. Same with the knowledge that every time I turn it back on its been degraded and with my settings it’d be useless very quickly so it’s useless now. Thinking of going with the 85 inch q90b now that the bugs have been ironed out. Leary but hopeful also.

Stellar picture, solar charging remote and ease of use recommends this tv. My only holdback is that it had a dark vertical stripe along the right edge right out of the box. To Samsung’s credit, they replaced the screen without any difficulty, albeit with a 10 day wait for available service.

I bought 2 of these for 2 different houses. Great picture but there is a big problem when it comes to watching sports. The lag on the ball from the pitcher to catcher is VERY noticeable. In addition, when they are running the bases it's like the picture is stuttering. For football, the same problem. It's like the TV literally just can't keep up with anything that moves quickly. Hard to watch and both TV's do the same thing. Also we get the Samsung black screen of death on both tv's every now and then. What a hassle. So frustrating to be watching something and the tv just goes out.

Great picture. Love the screen size. Color is great. Good for movies and sports. Sound doesn’t match the picture in terms of quality (but even a simple sound bar helps).
