    Not so Merry Christmas. Use to be a life long Samsung fan, but not anymore. I usually always purched premium Samsung products, and same with this TV. Bought on 1 December 2024, arrived 7 December, and stopped working 26 December. I should have read the reviews and saw all the issues with failures shortly after people purchased. Never thought I needed to do it for Samsungs premium items. Don't get this TV.

    This tv is amazing. The Best Buy rep was ver knowledgeable and helped me find the right TV for me. He explained the differences between each TV.

    This is the last Samsung product I will ever buy. I bought this TV around Christmas time and it lasted about a week or two before I got a black screen of death. I returned it to Best Buy and they gave me a new one as an even swap. After six months, it would not power on. When I opened a service request to get it fixed, it took 10 days for the repair man to come by and he brought the wrong parts. That kicked me back to square one. I tried to get them to let me speak with a supervisor to inquire about expediting the parts so I didn’t have to go through a whole new 10 day process waiting on parts. Finally, a supervisor called back the following week! Samsung truly does not care about their customers, and God help you if you ever have to deal with their customer service. They should be ashamed of themselves.

    The screen is amazing compared to my 8 year old vizio tv. I have mostly samsung products and its great how they all work together.

    2 months in and it's dead. Won't power on. Tried replacing the power cord, changing outlets, and NOTHING. Very disappointed in the quality of this TV. Picture quality is decent, sounds horrible from the built in speakers, so make sure to get a sound bar. Avoid at all costs or atleast get an extended warranty. I missed the return window by 2 weeks and now have to wait over a week for Samsung to send someone out to repair it.

    I would not purchase angain! After 6 months TV refused to turn on. Appears this is a now widely known Samsung manufacturing problem. Like the TV itself WHEN it works.

    Was great while it lasted, but now it's dead

    Was great while it lasted. Died 8 days after warranty expired. Power board fried, same as many many others. $379 for a new board I have to install myself. You'd better get the extended warranty if you buy one, or just save yourself the hassle and get something else.

    After 10 months it decided not to power on. Working with Samsung to get it repaired or replaced. The 1 year warranty on an unreliable product is trash.

    Get the more expensive TV

    We have now had 2 of these TVs die, one in 6 weeks, one in 2 months. Now if you google it the S90D series has a known “early power failure”. Wish I would’ve known sooner

    Stopped Working After 3 Weeks

    Tv stopped working after 3 weeks. No power LED and will not turn on. Beautiful picture and colors when it worked. Fortunately Samsungs customer service has been helpful so far since it’s past the refund/exchange policy for Best Buy. Just be wary that Best Buy will not price match after the 15 day refund/return policy if the price drops which is what happened to me. May want to purchase from a retailer that has a friendlier return/exchange policy. Will update after Samsung gets back to me.

    I have generally had good luck with Samsung but we purchased this one in NOV and within 1 month of installation it completely died. Took Best Buy/Geek Squad another month to come to take a look at it and confirm. Then they finally came back in FEB with a replacement but it was severely damaged out of the box so they had to take it back. Still waiting for a replacement.
