Monitor is ok, bad smear and bad colors

When doing the blur buster motion blur test their was obvious smearing and ghosting. It has ok brightness and good uniformity with a decent stand aswell.

Not a typical issue for gamers, but for people starting off it sucks. The body frame of the monitor wasn’t really impressive, its cheap plastic lile most these days

Could not even tell it had been opened. All items were sealed in their correct packages. Great 4k replacement for an old 720p tv I had been using for a desktop monitor.

It's a $200 1440p monitor for sure.

At higher refresh rates it doesn't appeal to the eyes very well. But for a console I could recommend this.

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this monitor as a replacement for the TV I normally play on (Samsung 55" QLED, which I also bought at the same BestBuy). I used it for a couple weeks and went back to my TV. You can't get the 165 HZ with AMD Freesync. The max you can get is 140 HZ. When running at the 140 HZ there is random graphics stutter or frame drop my other monitor and TV don't have. I admittedly never tested it at 165 because input latency keeps me up at night. Comparing it to my TV, it is an inferior monitor. I thought with over double the framerate it would feel smoother, but the smoothness stops when you open a game. The desktop is smooth. If I enjoyed moving my icons around more, then the monitor would be great. This monitor is for word processing and internet browsing. I wish I had it in college. For gaming though, a literal television set is better.
