    I think Seagate is a reliable brand and choose them every time. This purchase was for a permanent back up by Best Buy's Geek Squad from 3 different older computers, 2 of which were not even powering in and had to have the hard drives removed to back up!

    Top notch external drive, Seagate is Seagate!!!!!! The only issue is the downloading of software on some PC's, I have 2 new ones, but only one would allow a full install, Tried customer Support and we were both unclear as to what the issue was.

    The Geek Squad, especially, Nolan, were a tremendous help. I also bought a Dell Inspiron lap top. They transferred data from my former lap top and copied all to the new ext hard drive for storage/back up. Great service.,
