Overall the unit works very well. The app is a little hard to follow but I'm getting the hang of it. I bought it largely for the built in cell phone holder but find I don't care for it there. The screen is too small to read and the angle is wrong for me. Nothing wrong with the unit itself, just my preference. I'll keep the unit because it puts out great sound. The installation went very well. The tech's name is Tory. He was friendly and knowledgeable and helped me make a decision on new speakers because one of mine was blown. Turned out to be a good choice. All in all this is a good buy, or should I say best buy?

I was able to call and set an appointment on the same day. Showed up and was greeted very professionally. Every possible issue that may present having to pay any more for installation was explained and I felt like I was in good hands. I was told that the installation wound take about an hour. I was called 45 minutes later because everything was ready to go. I was shown how everything worked in great detail. I can say that this was my first experience with any installation and the bar was set extremely high. Both gentlemen that worked in the installation area were very knowledgeable and extremely good at what they do. I appreciate the great experience.

Love being able to operate my Iphone through my truck stereo. They professionally installed the kit we purchased from Best Buy with no muss no fuss! Con: my husband wanted to surprise me for my birthday. He called to make an appointment and was told that he could not make an apt without purchase. He asked if he could purchase over the phone and make an apt as we were out of town ad he wanted to make the apt for the following Monday morning. The answer was no...you had to purchase then bring it to them..and either make an apt or wait for service. Luckily there was not a long wait on Monday or they may have lost a sale.

Had an auxiliary input added to an older vehicle. Went in the day after Christmas (huge shopping/return/installation day) without an appointment and they were able to squeeze me in on the spot. Agent was extremely professional and turned it around for me within hours. He was extremely familiar with the product and was able to have me extremely comfortable with using the device and on my way within minutes of pickup. Would be very comfortable having additional work done at this location (Bryant Irvin & I-20).

I was hesitant to have a kit installed in my car, not knowing what the quality of the installation would be and I'm pretty deanding as I'm a IT tech guy myself. I'd do it myself but it's not worth my time to dig around behind the dash trying to get at the radio. The installer knew his stuff, the car was in and out in the time specified, the wiring was very discrete, the unit was mounted securely (glue and screwed) to the side of the center console, it almost looks like it came with the car. My son is thrilled to have a USB charger and audio input on his 04 Mazda 3 now at a very reasonable price. I'm going to bring my 06 Miata in next!

We had problems with the factory stereo in our 2005 Ford Mustang and decided to replace it with an off the shelf Radio/mp3 player. We had Best Buy install the stereo for us. The price was much less than a local shop that specialized in car stereo installation. We were able to get an appointment fairly quickly. The radio looks great and sounds great - no problems at all and no longer have to deal with the issues the old radio was causing.

Ultimately I didn't end up having the geek squad install anything into my car. The agent helped me understand what my options were and what the likely outcome would be. I was very grateful for the advice. Ended up replacing the aux Jack in my own car for cheap.

I spend a lot of time on the road, and I hate talking on the phone! I wanted a Bluetooth device, but I didn't want one that I had to wear. This unit was installed in my car and the factory radio works with it as if it was a factory installed device! It plays my music, as well as handles my calls with the touch of a button, and has very good voice recognition. The car's radio displays what song is playing as well as who is calling. For a thirteen year old car, it was a worthwhile investment!

When you have a vehicle that doesn't come decked out with all the techie stuff the new cars have optional, do the next best thing......get a Geek Squad Auto Installation of Aux input for your car and let your smart device bring all the tunes you prefer rather than paying for satellite radio or listening to Spam Radio. Only problem I had was I paid for everything and when I came back to pick up my vehicle the technician said it would be a extra $30 When I specifically asked him whats the final price before I left he said hey forgot to charge me for it. I thought that was very unprofessional.

This was my first experience with the Geek Squad techs that do vehicle installs. They were booked up at the Best Buy where I bought the product but they were able to get me in quick at a nearby store. The install was quick and the tech was good to verify the product worked (which it did not the first time and was found to be defective so he got me a new one off the shelf).

The installation department did a repair and an addition of USB cables. They were friendly, helpful and efficient. The only thing was they would not let me watch the work been done. This really would have been helpful if I could have seen what the modifications were so I could enhance things in my vehicle in future. I would still get BestBuy to do the work. Knowledge is power.

First, let me say that BB was awesome on this purchase: great salesman, great product presentation, great price, great installation experience, and great response when I was not satisfied. But once the product was installed in my 2006 auto, we were not particularly satisfied. We wanted a hands-free phone system to make driving easier. But by the time you pushed all the buttons and adjusted everything to get the call, you would have exceeded the risk of just answering the dang phone. We considered returning it and BB said that they would, but we would have to pay a fee to have it uninstalled (installation was free). This changed our calculus and we decided just to keep the unit to play music over Bluetooth through the FM radio. The product did not meet our original intent in purchasing it, but I guess we should have considered the purchase more carefully. I would advise other buyers to do the same.

I got an inline RF transmitter w/ headphone plug to play mp3 in my car. The tech did a good job of hooking up the unit without damaging my car. The price was very reasonable (less than $60). It took a little long than anticipated, and I could have used a waiting area other than a few chairs in the garage, but I would use BestBuy installation again.

Best Buy always does a great job at car audio installations. Have had them work on my car and both of my daughters. I highly recommend getting Total Tech Support if you plan on having a lot of work done to one car or many cars. The money it saves you is amazing.

The Best Buy Geek Squad installer who installed my purchase in my truck did an excellent job! Did a clean install, no scratched dashboard, no exposed wires, looks like it was done at the factory! Estimated taking about an hour and a half, took a little over an hour! Took time to answer questions about it, and show me how it works, and was very professional!

I had an iSimple - Car Connect Bluetooth Hands-Free Calling Kit for Select GM Vehicles installed. The installer did a great job. It was easy and convenient to have them do it. while the service was great, the product sucks. Maybe I need to take it back and see if the Geek Squad can solve the problems. I do not think it is installers fault.

I travel a lot in rural areas, with little (or no) choice of radio stations. With this device I always have exactly the music I want, with none of the static or interference often associated with radio reception. It also keeps the iPod's battery charged. I have one in my car, one in my wife's car, and one in our RV. Clean installation on all.

The installer in Long Island City was fantastic. We ran into all kinds of trouble with the electrical system and he was patient and helpful. After hours on the phone with Acura trying to get the lost security code for re-booting the stereo I was off an running. Would have been an absolute disaster without the expert install help.
