Your OLED TV automatically performs a panel refresh to adjust the uniformity of the screen when it's in use for long periods of time. You may see a line move through the screen from top to bottom as it checks the pixel condition of your TV screen and performs a panel refresh. This is normal and not a malfunction.

We're sorry to hear about the issues with this BRAVIA XR A80J TV. We apologize for the inconvenience. Please ensure your TV has the latest firmware installed(v6.6070) by going to Help > System Software Update > Software Update. The latest software version contains all the benefits and improvements of previous versions. In picture issues connected to the HDMI devices, we recommend disconnecting the HDMI cables, and make it sure to use high-speed HDMI cable and perform the restart of the TV and the HDMI devices. Restart the TV with the supplied remote control: Press and hold the POWER button until Power off appears on the screen Press and hold the POWER button until a menu appears → select Restart.
