Great tv for the price: Dark scenes no so great

Easy to use. 4k images look great. I see only two issues with it but for the price, i can not seriously complain. First, dark scenes are not completely dark. there are shades (dark clouds): I think this is because the tv is direct lit and not full Array. My mother big brand tv was worst then this one with dark scenes and she paid 3+ time more . Second, I just wish it was Alexa instead of Google voice compatible. But i end up using the fire Cube and this work great controlling the tv, dvr cable box, and sound bar. Last, i will recommend this 75' tv for the price and the quality. It is better then some Big Brands. It has some limitations, but i can live with those and save lots of cash.

Size is insane...75 inches is a large tv and for the 499 black Friday its was a great deal. I probably would've paid the 799 if I knew it was this nice....the brightness out the box was set at 100 which for me was way to high but after a few tweaks picture looks great...

Good for the price

Have been using in our family room after mounting on the wall between the two windows. Not the brightest tv but didn't need top of the line since the windows are on the north side of the house so sunlight glare not an issue.

Dead on arrival

I was expecting a low quality seeing as it still has the same amount of pixels as a smaller tv. What I did not expect is it to not work at all. It arrived yesterday. I opened it and at first the screen came on and it made a sound...and then it turned off. It did not turn back on. and it did not make any sounds. I called TCL customer support and they guided me through the process that is supposed to reset tv. They said it is likely a faulty backlight and to return it to best buy since I am within my return period.

It's a big cheap TV and that's about it

The built-in apps are slow, there aren't a lot of customization options, the color and brightness aren't great, HDMI-CEC support is lacking, the TV speakers suck, etc., etc. I do recommend it if you can get it on sale and will use it in a secondary room. Just don't use this as your main TV or you'll probably be disappointed.

Black screen a week after one year

Screen flickering colors one year out of warranty

Lasted just over a year and now is out of warranty..... screen keeps flashing different colors while watching... If you do buy a cheap tv GET THE EXTENDED WARRANTY!!! Will never buy TCL again

Common Failure after warranty.
