Buttons are not a good size for elderly users as they are smaller. Good remote uf you have tons of devices, but not user friendly if you get confused by all the buttons

I bought this remote because I was tired of having three remotes on the table. I am enjoying the one remote that hooks up to my TV, surround sound and I am also able to manage my Amazon TV. Glad I purchased it when I did. Super easy to hook up your devices to the remote as well.

Easy to setup. Sometimes hard to view keypad. Have to see if durable.

It's good as a replacement because the kids lose the remote all the time

It doesn't quite have the same functionality as the stock remote for the TCL and 90% the buttons aren't for it. The tv, but it's better than no remote at all.

I do most reviews after 6 - 12 months so they are true and not premature. Works as it should with no issues = Simplicity with Great Options and Functionality. It is a Remote and can't ask for much more than what this offers up!

I'd give this five stars if it used AA or AAA batteries.

Not “the best” remote out there, but better than forking out for a harmony remote (which are awesome). It controls my TCL Roku TV, Insignia sound bar, and Samsung Blu Ray. No complaints.

Why this remote is getting returned: This remote uses BUTTON BATTERIES also knows as COIN or COIN CELL BATTERIES. It does not have a screw to secure the battery compartment. If you are a parent with small children, this is NOT the remote for you. For those unaware: The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) states, "The consequences of swallowing a coin size battery can be immediate and devastating. Fatal chemical burns from a coin cell battery lodged in the throat can occur in as little as two hours." Saliva activates the battery, and damage can continue even after the battery is removed. Parents know the remote is something kids gravitate towards and want to play with. We didn't want to risk the possibility of forgetting to put it out of their reach. We keep a close eye on them when they are playing, but with something like this it would only take a short distraction for something catastrophic to happen. The remote itself: The remote seems really nice. The backlit keys are what initially sold me. Not really sure about functionality because as soon as I saw the batteries my wife and I both agreed it needed to be returned. In the United States, and most major countries, I know children's toys are legally required to have a screw to secure devices with coin cell batteries, but I guess that doesn't apply to all manufacturers. I am not sure if this is a major design oversight, or an attempt to save money on the minimal cost of a screw to secure the battery door.

Well designed layout. A little too light weight. Feels unsubstantial. Clicking challenge....Clicking the various buttons sometimes takes two or three trys to work.

Good remote control. Works on any TV. Easy to set up.
