I ended up returning this (the Best Buy employee who was extremely helpful told me that they normally don't have an issue with this router) and bought an Asus which I found very easy to install. Obviously can't comment on the efficiency of this model because I never got that far. My overall rating is due to the setup experience with their app.

Thank you for your review. If you ran into difficulty during setup steps, such as with Internet connectivity, it may be that your modem's MAC (Media Access Control) binding needs to be released and renewed so it can provide an IP address (and Internet) to the Router, which can typically be done in just a few steps.

TP-Link is one brand that has been exceptional for the daily use in a commercial setting.

I later researched VPNs and purchased one. Only then did I discover the router was not compatible with my VPN as far as running it through the router. I wish I would’ve gotten one that is.
