Unboxed, attached stand, put on tv stand, plugged in, connected wifi. All is good. Took off their shoes before entering the house (though I've never been a stickler about that), masked up, and did the job. Very professional and very friendly. I'm definitely a satisfied customer. Which surprises me a bit as I'd given up on Best Buy years ago. Only used them this time because no one else will come into the house to set up. But it went so well, I'll consider Best Buy in the future. Now if you would just stop charging extra for set-up and let that be part of the purchase price.

About a week ago the local Brooklyn Geek Squad delivered, removed it from the gigantic box and placed it on my media console. They were extremely professional, courteous (little booties on, cognizant of art and other things which are easily in the way, removed all debris) and took all the time I wanted to explain the TV as well as, make sure I was 110% satisfied. AND THEY DIDN’T ACCEPT TIPS! They called in advance, and were on time! If only the cable guys could do that....! Alan and John I believe.
Can’t recommend them enough and may have Alan come by under separate appt for a calibration.

The two agents that came to install and set up the Television were very professional and knowledgeable. The Television was too big for us to take home and they also were able to make wire connections hidden and unseen compared to our prior set up. They were able to setup this Television faster than I could do it. They were on time and called both day before delivery and 15 minutes before they arrived. I also paid for removal of old television. Would use this service again for future installations. It was worth the cost of everything done.

Chris and Ethan did a wonderful and thorough job of installing our new and first smart TV, as well as woofer, sound bar and (coordinated Spectrum box with new TV. Then Chris spent a good bit of time showing my husband how to operate the TV. Oh, and because the legs of the tv would not fit, Chris and my husband went looking for some wood to place on either side of the slide out tv shell built into a hutch. When they could not find something suitable Chris got the idea of removing the shelf above the tv and using it on the slide out. It worked perfectly and looks like it should have been there all along. Now we just have to figure out another top shelf and we haven’t had any luck so far. We love our new Smart TV and the sound bar has sided with my hearing aids so that I don’t have to use my iPhone to make sound adjustments for voice.

Bestbuy Installer unboxed, setup, configured my Roku Remote with my favorite streaming services, tested my TV and then removed my old TV (the most important reason for using my tech support contract). I purchased this TV on sale and my rewards almost covered it. Using BestBuy for all my technology and appliances is the best way to go.

We purchased the TV in-store and b had it delivered. Geek Squad guy was right on time, very friendly, knowledgeable and picked up everything before he left. He had a great personality and showed us how to work everything. We would be happy to have him back for our next installation.

The fellas treated us very well. The removal of one TV and replacement of another was quick. They made it look easy. It's not. They helped my wife understand how to run the remote. They set-up the antennae found local channels and hookup the internet. Even helped re-install Apps. Made the ROKU easier to search. Just great work.

The agent set up my TV on my TV stand. He tested the cable box and said I would need to contact RCN/Astound to get a new cable box. He also hauled away my very old heavy TV with a VCR. I contacted RCN for a new cable box and the TV is working very well. I am very pleased.

Cant say enough about the professionalism and efficiency of the folks at Best Buy, especially the Geek Squad. However, the protocol for service is flawed and the time delay to repair needs to be addressed. Having a technician scheduled to come out to determine the problem and to have to reschedule for the service is counter productive. Especially if the second visit is not successful and the equipment is deemed terminal then an additional visit has to be set up. Granted this is all done very professionally and customer service is always at the forefront. Three weeks is entirely too long to achieve satisfactory results.

This was seamless, excellent service. The installers inspected my old set and from that they knew to continue the processes I liked and they anticipated the little tweaks I was prepared to ask for in the new installation. They explained the new things I needed to know, answered all questions clearly and patiently and did this in an appropriate time frame. No wasted time for me. No wasted time for them. All in all, an above average service experience.

These "Geeks" Were the Best!

The "Geeks" showed up in the promised window, after calling to let me know they were on the way, wore masks and "booties" over their shows, were super efficient working together to unbox and set up the new TV, AppleTV and remotes, and answered all my questions. They even came back the next day at my request when I was unable to access one of the features in my system. I even sent an email to their supervisor about their incredibly good service.

I am very happy with the delivery and set up service. The technicians arrived in a timely fashion, were very efficient and knowledgeable, cleaned up after themselves and removed all packaging materials. If you're buying a larger TV Im recommend you purchase the in-home setup, it will save you a lot of work and worry.

Experience was easy, the tv was mounted with no problems, and we love it! We had it mounted on the wall as a suggestion from a previous Geek Squad visit, and we couldn’t be happier with the result. The team brought the necessary mounting kit, with a surge protector that we had bought and ordered. We had bought a big tv, and the extra foot or so makes a difference with viewing it in our room. We will definitely have them install next time for a seamless job. They made it easy!

The agents got my sound bar back working and also got my DVD hooked up correctly. My TV channels were not staying in the TV guide due to not receiving a signal until a new antenna was hooked up to the 2 year old TV. The LG channels also are not operational due to not being able to connect to my WiFi. Password does not seem to work after modem disconnected from wall being painted.

The day of the install, I received both a call and a text message in the morning with a more narrow time frame for them to show up. I received another text around 30 minutes before the expected time. This was great communication, as previously, through my purchase and schedule on Best buy's website, the timeframe was basically 'all day.'
The technicians stayed and hooked up the cable box, staying to make sure it was working (there was an issue with the cable box, not the TV). They did a great job unpacking the TV, setting it up on the stand, going through the remote control with me, and taking away my old TV along with the box and packaging materials/trash from the new TV. (It was well worth it for the extra $60 I spent for the haul-away and recycling of my old TV.)
