Almost as good as it’s predecessor

If it’s as reliable as it’s predecessor I will be very pleased. The unit it replaced lasted 18 years. But I fail to understand why they replaced the pivoting catch that holds the door shut with a flexible and fragile piece of plastic that requires you install the optional door handle in order to work. The door handle significantly increases the external profile and would make it very easy for someone to get hung up on.
