loved the size, was half as big as my old scanner and scans better quality and just as fast

I mainly use the scanner for document scanning with an OCR program. The accuracy of the scanner is excellent. I also love that this device is powered through USB.

Love my new scanner. Scans quality pictures and lets you make adjustments to them.

I purchased the Canon LiDE 110 color scanner to replace a Canon LiDE 30 scanner (which I loved, but was not compatible with our new Windows 7 computer), and Canon was the only brand I considered for quality and reputation. The size of this scanner is perfect for our limited desk space. Like the previous one, it is sleek - not bulky like some other models/brands. Installation and operation is quick and easy. The Z-lid allows for scanning of thicker items, though it would be great if it opened even higher, as I am currently scanning old family photo albums. Great results! Affordable for small budgets and easy to use - two more reasons this is a perfect scanner for me.

I was somewhat concerned that my local store did not carry this item, so I could not inspect it myself. The sales rep, however, was able to pull it up on their computer and we were able to compare the features of this unit with others. I was impressed with the DPI rate and the fact that it only contained the features that I needed. Additionally, the price was right! Set up was easy. My first project was scanning about 300 pages of intricate mechanical drawings. I was impressed with the quality of the output.

This scanner is amazing. I usually don't write reviews but after using this thing all day I was entirely satisfied. I'm 19, and I have tons of old pictures of my dad and my grandparents and I wanted to have them on my computer in case anything should happen to them. This thing did not dissapoint. I spent about 4 hours scanning pictures. I have hundreds, literally hundreds of pictures. The scanner worked really fast, and gave great scans. Almost better than the actual pictures. The software was easy to install and it will save them automatically to any specified folder. You can put multiple pictures on the screen and scan them and it will crop them and make individual files for them, which I didn't realize until the end of my project. I really like that feature. Anyway, I feel like the quality of this product was way beyond what I expected for such a great price. I would think it was a few hundred dollar type of scanner. Perfect!!!

I got this scanner to create disks of all my photos, daughter's scrapbook, art portfolio and legal papers that are so cumbersome to bring every time we have to evaculate for hurricanes. The scanner is simple to operate, has more functions than I'll ever need and scans a beautiful copy. I highly recommend it!

This is a great scanner for this price. Very easy to setup. I connected it with my computer via USB and it works great. I use this Canon scanner in conjunction with ScanDrop, which is a 3rd party app that allows me to scan right into Evernote. It keeps my office much cleaner than before since most of my past paper stuff have been scanned and archived.

Great little scanner that gets the job done quickly and quietly. Takes up less space than the one it replaced and weighs about half as much. Love the Z lid that allows scanning of thicker objects/books.

This product was a replacement for a scanner that was not compatible with the new computer I bought recently. The scanner is easy to use and makes good quality scans and copies of documents.

This is a compact easy to use scanner. Takes up very little space on my desk. Being a senior citizen the ease of operation is important to me. This totally fits my purposes.

This is a great scanner for the $$. It is easy clear and I am really happy with the jobs it has done. I use it for scanning old photos and they come out clear.

Everything is fine for me, as I use it primarily for scanning a few documents as well as some sketches I do in my free time. Quality is fine, but sometimes I have to adjust contrast and whatnot on the scanned image. The only thing that bothers me is the scan time, but that's only because I am particularly impatient. Overall, very good.

I am starting to do some work from home, so I needed something that was just a scanner - not a combo machine. This scanner was perfect for my needs - I've even used it for personal business, and for scanning photos usable on the internet. Great for small home office!

Despite the review--that this scanner CanoScan LiDE 110 does not work with Windows 7--I ordered it, and found that it does work with Windows 7 (and can be also used with Windows 8). Also, for reviewer who had problems with message about system locked, I thought I'd unlocked mine only to get message and found out I hadn't and, when I did, everything worked fine! Only problem is software is less than intuitive; I use Photoshop, so had to read manual for directions to find out how to save, crop, etc. BUT, having a flatbed for photos and books and other images on paper is wonderful. Thanks. This replaces my CanoScan LiDE 30! So happy and the delivery was 2-days from my order. Could not be happier. Designer

I primarily just use this scanner for work documents. I scan and attach to emails with great ease. I can't speak for it's quality for pictures, but I can only imagine it being great for those as well. Highly recommended product!

Bought this scanner to replace my Canon LiDE80 since it wouldn't work with my computer that is running Windows 7. Super easy to use. It is very lightweight making it very portable.

Great product easy to use. good scanning quality. My only issue is a driver issue. It seems product chooses my all in one printer, scanner, fax unit. I have to use a simple work around.

My only complaint is the speed of the scan, though it is faster than many other scanners I have used in the past.

I am pleased with the scanner I recently bought at Best Buy.It would have been nice to copy negatives but it is serving it's purpose.
