Difficult Mac connection

It took several hours to get the drive to finally work with Time Machine on my new iMac. I made numerous calls to Apple and WD. Finally WD support, which was of very little if any help, suggested I take the drive back and start over with a new one, which I did. Same problems but finally with a lot of online reading, I was able to get things working like they should.

I should have enough memory

Very Good External Hard Drive
