    The drive does what it's supposed to do. Setup was quick and easy. I do prefer the old software that came with my previous WD back up though.

    My biggest complaint is that no matter where I tweak power saving settings, it seems this thing goes into some kind of 'standby' mode after not being read from or written to in a while. This then leads to a good 30 to 60 second 'pause' when I try and pull up data from the unit. I did get it just to store data where access speed wasn't a big factor, primarily trying to keep my documents off my SSD. However, I was expecting the usual 'slow because of spinning disks' issue, not this one.
