Doesn't work well with Windows 10 which ought to be a no-brainer. It causes my 6 year old HP desk top with Win 10 to try to reboot but it just hangs up and I have to disconnect the drive to get it to restart. Their help desk has been responsive but not very helpful. Their solution is for me to change something in the bios. No way. It works reasonably well with my newer HP laptop but the software seems clunky. It doesn't automatically backup all users. You have to futz around the settings to get it to do so. It would be nice if I could just leave it connected to my desktop but I can't.

It's OK for a basic machine.

It's a average machine. It has password encryption. The proble is it had 4 different apps to do stuff, it's kinda of a pain going to security to sign in, and then back to the other apps to view backyps.

Unable to Use

Store rep said the 3TB should work, unfortunately it did not. So i had to return the product. (Dish Hopper doesn't support a 3 TB external hard drive, needed to purchase one online since Best Buy did not have a 1 or 2 TB externally powered device)
