I bought one for my up stairs computer and liked it so much I bought one for my main computer down stairs. I am a freelance photographer and have , well lets say quite a lot of files on it .

My old WD backup drive stopped working. Luckily it died before my internal drive so I didn't lose anything. I was told to replace the backup every five years unless you get an SSD. This was easy to set up and runs daily backups perfectly.

It works great with the Xbox and portable. Great hard drive.

The price was right for the TBs. I accidently dropped/let it fall over a couple times but it still works fine. The only problem I've experienced is that its design is such that it falls over easily. That problem could easily be fixed by attaching a simple base of some sort to the bottom.

Very simple to set up - plug in, follow Xbox prompt to format, and use - ready to go! We have other WD products for our personal backups so I trust this will last for years as they have!

I've been a fan of the WD products for years and when it came time to enhance my back up capabilities they were my first thought. So far performing as expected and no issues found. Setup was easy and use for back up was effortless.

The WD My Book is an amazing external hard drive, for its storage compared to itrs price yoiu can go wrong. Really wish there was an easier connection interface but I guess that's where the security system makes up for it.

I needed an external hard drive to backup my computer at work. I found this one on the shelf at Best Buy. It was very easy to set up and is very quiet. It does not have a power light indicating it is on but since it stays plugged in and runs in the background that doesn't bother me.

You can't go wrong with this external hard drive. There's a reason it's on a lot of "Best External Hard Drive For Xbox One" lists. Setup is super easy, it increases the speed of the Xbox and it's a snap to manage games.

Bought the external hard drive because it was on sale. Had a WD My Book in the past and liked it so got this one with more storage space. It works. The old WD was easier to set-up and work with but like everything in the computer world things must change but not always for the best.

I think this should do the job. Reliable and dependable.

I needed a backup. This looked to be cost-effective $/bytes. I already had backup software in place. Plugged the drive in, Windows 7 automatically recognized the drive and the backup was off and running.

I found this drive to be very user-friendly. The set-up was as easy as plug in the power cord, plug in the USB cable and you're done. I don't think it can get much easier than that!

Just got it and have no problems backing up my data

I bought this as an extension of memory for my X-Box One. It works beautifully and has ample room for everything digital I have on my X-Box One. The price was a little high, but you get what you pay for. Recommended.

External backup everyday. Lost my computer and hard drive up no external backup. I cannot emphasis how painful it was trying to retrieve data. This is way more inexpensive and easier than the way it was.

This is the 4th WD external hard drive that I have purchased. They are so reliable that I keep buying WD for my hard drive needs. I have never had one fail yet though I understand that they will not last forever.

I used this hard drive with my xbox one for saving games. Just plugged it in and the xbox found it and done. Looks nice, all black so if you cant hide it its not hideous. Good reviews online and a good price on sale.
