On-Board BU Software hard to access! It took several tries over several days to finally install built-in back-up software! Was thinking about returning the drive, before the BU software finally installed. Otherwise, I would give it 5 stars! BU software appears to operate correctly after installation.

This hard drive does exactly what it needs to do, expand my Xbox One Library.A simple plug into the USB port and you're good to go.

I've used both Seagate and Western Digital external hard drives. The Seagates have died without warning after 2-3 years. I've never had a WD drive fail.

I had been storing my photos on a second hard drive in my desktop computer so I was running out of space. I bought the My Book 4TB External USB 3.0 Hard Drive for two main reasons. 1. I was concerned that my old drive would eventually fail. 2. My new camera's file sizes are very large and after I edit some of the photos the file size is even larger when saved as .PSD. So far the hard drive works as I expected. It is fast and does not slow me down while I am editing and saving my photos. I've set up automatic backup to back up any changes in my files so I don't have to worry about it.

Smaller storage currently being used for my wii u. Does exactly what i want.

I live this drive, it's fast and has a huge amount of storage. USB 3.0 speed, a great drive for the money.

Great External Storage unit, it would be hard to beat the value of this device. And it has done a great job since I purchased it.

Easy to setup. Much easier than older versions of the WE MyBooks. Easy to run, as well. Highly recommended.
