Bought this for my Xbox One and it's great. Easy to install and you have lots of storage space if you're a extreme gamer like myself.

Had to return the first one I puchased due to issues not really identified. However, after doing some additional due diligence, I decided to give this brand/unit another chance. So after working with an independent tech (not from WD), I have installed the unit and did my initial backup of my C Drive. so far, so good. I have had an older WD exteranl My Book drive and that is being used to store numerous photos (thousands) along with some documents. Due to its age, I felt it was time to get a newer drive, just in case.

I bought this to add memory to my PS4 and Xbox One. Easy to hookup and format. Games that are stored in it load fast.

Always had good reliability from WD drives. Knock on wood! I think what sets WD apart from the pack is the software tools included. The set it and forget it backup solution works really good and is very easy to schedule and set up. With USB 3.0 connection the data transfers and backups are fast also. Lastly they have attractive enclosures so they blend in nicely with any set up.
