Excellent price for excellent HD's. These hard drives are great and I replaced 2 TB hard drives with them in a RAID and quadrupled my capacity. I purchased 8 in total. These things just run and run and run!

I've had it for some time, and I haven't had any issues.
Funny story - I actually bought this one because I was having a file corruption problem with my other one. I sent my first one to Western Digital to have it serviced, and it took so long that I did some research and found out that they sometimes can take up to a month. So, I decided to buy a new drive. Ironically, it turned out that the first drive was fine, the noises I heard are normal for the WD Red drives, and the file corruption was caused by a software bug.

I bought 20 of these almost 3 years ago for 2 different Linux-based NAS builds. (Ubuntu RAID 6 and TrueNas RAID-Z3) They're in my business running 24/7 so that is a testament to the quality of these drives. The last batch of drives that failed in 2020 were Seagate, and the WD Reds from back then never even failed. I changed them out before they reached 5 years, as I always do on good drives rather than take the risk.
Hopefully the next batch I buy are as reliable.

I've been running two of these hard drives in my NAS for a little over two years. The drives have not skipped a beat. If you're building a NAS at home, I would recommend spending the extra money and buying these drives.

I bought 4 for my Synology Network Attached Storage. So far, 9 months on, no problems. The 7200 rpm speed is a bonus, reliability is great so far. Size is about right for my needs. The drives are generally quiet, except for when under heavy use, which isn't often. All in all, a good, quality product.

Setting up a NAS and these were designed for such service and work great. Just put two 8TB in and the NAS formatted and set up RAID with no problem. Very quiet with just occasional noise as access.
Be careful. Always want WD "Red Plus" and not the "Red" which is an older design with characteristics that can conflict with RAID.

It’s a good drive it works well the speed is definitely there the drive seems to run a little bit hotter though not sure why my average temp is 114°F But it definitely does have some good reading and writing speeds The noise is definitely less than a western digital black

Great price per Gb when on sale. The Plus and Pro both have the more preferable Conventional Magnetic Recording type of platters.
I bought two of these drives not used in RAID. both have worked without issues. While being written to noise is just audible, much less noticeable than other drives I have owned in the past.
