A: Unless you install a smart wire hardwire yet, yes. Only g shock is working during parking.

Great for first timer
I wanted both a front and rear camera for safety. Driving in LA is crazy so I wanted that added security. I think it records voice as well but not sure. The front camera is clearer than rear which is normal and not a big deal. Good price and easy installation. Wire is long enough for my rav4

Not bad for the price
Nice to have a kit which includes front/rear cameras plus the GPS module, instead of having to buy them separately. Image quality is definitely good, seems like the best balance between price and features/quality out there right now It’s not bad but if anyone get 360 camera it’s brings better results Now back camera which is 480p which doesn’t bring any result @ night time means if any one rear end you it will not catch the license tag because of headlight Mic records excellent voice and surrounding sound. But for the price it’s not bad

Going to save my bacon
I spend a lot of time behind the wheel and lately I found myself a victim of the schuchyl expressway. Found myself glad it was obvious who hit who. But I will tell you 2 other times in the past three weeks before I purchase this it’s been close, not going to wing it anymore. Thanks to my new silent witness.super easy install easy set up to download to computer! Get one you will not regret it!
