A: No, this product is strictly a microwave
Q: does this microwave have the ability to vent out the top of the cabinet?his
A: Yes, I had no problems installing and venting to the outdoors through the top. Even from a previous, different model.
A: Hi Rsbob, The exhaust fan’s speed will reduce when the oven’s cooking function is activated. ^Rosi
A: Yes my one also slows to 2 when using the microwave while using the vent fan
A: I'm not sure if this will answer your question, but the stove seems to have its own fan, but you still need to turn the Overhead Microwave Fan On and then choose what speed you want it to run on -- Speed 1, Speed 2, Speed 3 or Speed 4 (the highest one). I usually use the highest Speed 4, and I've never noticed that it would slow down. As to the mounting, I was replacing a 23-year-old wall-mounted microwave with a similar outlet to yours. The installers explained that they had to reverse the fans and then install in order to make that work. Did they do that for yours?
A: Yes, there are simple slide-in screens that cover those holes and catch the grease. They come out very easily and can be cleaned.
A: It seems to me that it's the same size as the other microwaves but it's bigger inside. I really like having the extra cooking space.
