I had been researching a new washer/dryer for several months and had narrowed my choices. I was looking at the base models (white) since the price was right and wasn't sure if I could justify the higher priced ones (platinum). After asking more questions I am glad I purchased the platinum versions as there are more options to chose from and the platinum looks very really nice in the laundry room. I also purchased the drawers and am glad for all the extra space. The units sit high enough now to be accessible and also with the drawers it makes it much easier to clean the washer (just put a bucket underneath). I think if the unit sat direct on the floor you wouldn't be able to get a bucket under to collect the water. I am glad I spent the extra $ to get the higher options. Also, I was skeptical about washing a comforter; but it actually does. I have also been able to wash our pillows and since the spinner cycle works so well, they are practically dry when they come out of the washer. And since you can wash so much more with each load we only have 3-4 loads a week now (we are a small family). It also has an active wear cycle; my husband works outdoors so, his clothes are sometimes smelly; this cycle makes the clothes smell fresh again. Also, a great feature is the delay cycle. I can get the washer all ready and set the timer to start at a later time. I highly recommend getting the platinum versions if you want all the options.

I was nervous about spending this much money on a washer, but after using this washer for more than 1 month, I LOVE it! The spin cycle dries my clothes so well and my clothes are actually clean. I didn't realize how badly my old washer worked/ didn't work. My eczema has also slowly disappeared because the soap residue is also getting washed off my clothes. There are way more functions and cycles than I really need, but I love that I still have those options available .

I love my Samsung washer, it cleans my clothes wonderfully and the spin cycle is so good that my clothes are practically dry by the time it’s done. The only issue I had is where the detergent/softener/bleach goes…when it rinses the detergent out, some water stays in the reservoir so I have to let it air dry when I’m done with it. With all my front loaders I’ve had to do this before because you don’t want any chance of mold or mildew. I also leave the door open when I’m finished using it to let it air dry so I doesn’t start smelling. I’ve had this washer for three weeks and so far it’s the greatest one I’ve owned. Love it!

Very happy with this purchase. Takes laundry day to the next step with advanced features and efficient cleaning. Steam feature helps remove dirt and the many cycle variations offer great options for a particular tripe of cleaning. From small, gentle, delicate with a soft spin, to the bedding plus which can handle a large down comforter. Love this machine.

I love my washing machine! When our five year old Whirlpool Duet died on Christmas Day, we called out a service person, who told us that it would be $550 to replace the board. We had already looked at Best Buy and learned that we could get a replacement Duet for $650, so that was our intention. However, as I explored more, I found that I could get this Samsung washing machine (far superior to the Whirlpool one) for $563 (including tax and delivery) because it had two small dents. Yea! When the washing machine was delivered, it was set up very professionally (not only did they set up my new washing machine, he switched the side with the dryer so that it was easier to go from washer to dryer without the doors in the middle). The manual was online, so after playing a little, we looked online to see the best way to use the washing machine. It is very quiet, very easy to use and works really well. We are still learning what all the cycles do, but have not had any problems. I would definitely recommend this washing machine!

I can't believe how quiet this washer is! It makes very little, if any, sound. I love the huge capacity and the many features! I highly recommend this machine!

I am so so happy with this machine. I can fit 3x the amount if clothes and they come out squeaky clean. Tons of features and can even wash wool. What's not to like?
