A: The UN49MU7000FXZA base Is shaped like a triangle. The distance between the outermost points of the two front legs is 34 inches. The point of the triangle at the back supports a base to which the chassis is attached. The distance from the back side of the base to the midpoint of a line drawn between the outer tips of the two front legs is 12". So, a platform 34" long and 12" wide is the absolute minimum but it would be excessively vulnerable to being dislodged.
Q: What is the difference between the MU7000 ($749) and the MU8000 ($999)?
A: Motion rate and the # of HDMI inputs. 120 with 3 inputs for 7, and 240 with 4 inputs for 8.
Q: How is the sound quality on this model?. I really don't have room for a sound bar.
A: I installed the Samsung in my daughter's apartment. She absolutely loves the TV, the picture, the ease of use, everything really. As for the sound, she's quite satisfied with it, but she's not the 'full theater experience' buff that I am. I have a 60" Samsung with a full Yamaha Surround Sound system. The quality from both is remarkable.
Q: Will the remote control my cable set top box ?
A: It will control Apple TV and Firestick. I have DIRECTV and it will not control the channels or searches.
Q: Does this TV have bluetooth capability too pair wireless headphones
A: Yes you can pair Bluetooth headphones and portable speakers.
Q: Is this an android tv ..does it have goggle play store where I could get Kodi
A: I haven't seen the Google play store app in the most recent list.. I use Netflix, Amazon Prime video, and Charter Spectrum app. (My cable company)
A: The demensions are 43 1/4" wide and 25" high. Add 3" for the base if setting on a table .

A: The trim is nickel and the stand is nickel both look great
