A: Both the power and connect cable comes out closer to the bottom of the TV, about 3/4 quarters of the way down from the top. I would not try to mount the receptacle behind the TV but below the TV 18" above the floor. Keep in mind you also have the connect box that needs a home. Take a picture of where your mounting the TV and I will try to help you out---
A: The art display stays on as long as a television program is not being shown and the ambient light sensor and motion sensor detect activity in the room. The sensor sensitivities can be changed, but essentially the art display stays on anytime someone is in the room to see it. It cannot be changed to a mirror mode.
A: It does come with a mount. Suggest you view the vidios reference the mounting of this TV & then read the fine print. Advertisements are deceptive. Vidios show the TV hanging like a painting.. No cables or connections shown. That is true if your hanging it on a wall that has a closet or storage space behind it with elcectrical conections etc. and you can cut a hole thru the wall for cables & location for the control box that comes with the TV. Otherwise the cable will show & the wall mount doesn't provide enough space for cables to allow it to mount flush with wall as advertisement indicates. I had to purchase a standard wall mount . TV has about a 2 inch space between it and wall.
A: If it is an appliance cord then no you cannot per NEC 400.8 (2). The old One-connect cords used to be Fiber and passed signal only. As long as the jacket of the fiber cable is rated for in-wall use then all good. With the new one-connect cords they pass both however I have not opened one up to see if copper conductors are combined in a jacket with the fiber cable. If so then this is still an appliance cord and you then still cannot pull it through the wall new NEC 400.8(2). One way around this would be install and end to end conduit that terminates in an electrical box so at no time would the cord be "inside" the wall as it is completely enclosed in the conduit.
A: Have a recessed plug mounted center of mass on the wall your mounting TV on. Even that will not allow the TV to fit flush with the wall as advertised. SAMSUNG advertisement is deceptive. Not only do you have the cord problem, there is also a box that comes with the TV. All that can be mounted behind the TV (mine is) but you have a stand off of 2-3 inches from the wall. TV has great picture but it is not as advertised. I have made this point to Best Buy
Q: Does the frame have a picture similar to a screensaver like an aquarium
A: don't know exactly which art pieces are in the catalog but you can always upload your own images (preferably hi-res ones so that they look really good on the big hi-res screen)
Q: What color frame ships with the tv?
A: Mine came with a black color frame. We wanted to get it on the wall and next to the rest of our furniture to decide what other color to order. We absolutely love this TV, hope this helps!
A: Hello Supabee, I didn’t have time to drill the hole to hide the cables yet. However, I don’t see any problem running the two cables (only 2) thru the wall. The reason there are only 2 cables because Samsung is using the technology called One-connect. The optical wire carries all the signals from one hub (which you can place it anywhere away from the TV) to the TV. I have atttached the picture of the 2 cables for you to visualize the size. They’re very small but one is very agile. It’s an optical wire so you have to very CAREFUL not to damage it by bending it sharply around the wall or any corners. Hope this would help. Good luck! Tim
