Q: Can you purchase the extended warranty after you bought the tv.?
A: You can add extended warranty within your return period so regular membership you have 15 days Elite member 30 days from date of purchase for Elite plus 45 days. 14 days for all mobile and tablets tho no matter what tier membership you have.
A: Local dimming, sound quality, picture quality. I looked at both side by side with the same picture showing. I would suggest you do the same before making a choice. If the difference would only have been money I certainly would have purchased the 8000 instead of the 9000. Hope this helps.
Q: I know it says it has "Clear Motion Rate 240" but is the actual screen refresh rate 240hz?
A: No it is not 240hz, it is in fact 120hz
Q: I am thinking of buying MU8000 or the Sony X900E. Can someone tell me which is a better buy?
A: I currently have a 2010 Samsung 1080P, 240 hertz refresh rate TV and have the MU9000 on order. I can tell you the colors seem brighter and more vibrant on the MU8000 and 9000. The Sony colors are more life like with out the in your face colors. To me they are both good TV's and the decision is simply taste in what you will be using them for, but i have have multiple smaller Samsung TV's and all have been great.
A: In the settings, go to picture, expert settings and set auto motion plus to off. This worked for me when I was having the same problem.
A: I had the Samsung MU9000 for less than three weeks and a thin white line developed across the entire screen... needless to say I wasnt happy. The service tech with Geek Squad came out and said it's a bad panel so they are ordering a replacement panel. $2400 on a TV, (4) days past the allowable return policy so I'm getting a lemon repaired...

Q: Does this TV have any motion blur during sports?
A: I have only have this TV for 2 days. I have noticed motion blur. It's not all the time. I noticed it as I was watching a commercial yesterday and a little girl in a fairy costume was running - I could see blur in the wings. My husband barely saw it. Don't know if some more people are more sensitive that others. It aggravates me. We upgraded from a 2009 Sony si of course this TV picture is phenomenal. I just wish I could fix this issue.
