Mega huge
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love this TV. Thank goodness we went with a large TV because of the size of our family room (24x24)...this TV looks smaller than it really is, but perfect for the space. It shows a clear picture and comes with a lot of bells and whistles. We got a great deal and it's worth every penny.

Massive screen and a beautiful picture.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Picture quality is phenomenal with my Xbox 1X. Blacks are like ink and colors are really vibrant.

Great picture and performance
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very happy with this TV so far. Produces great picture for movies, video games and live streaming sports. Works especially well with the Xbox One. Sound quality is better than I expected from just the TV speakers, though I will still be buying a separate speaker system. Picture provides good contrast and the screen is minimally affected by reflections. Local dimming could be better, but is still solid. Very little motion blur, good response times. Input lag is virtually nonexistent. I bought the 82" version, so recommend wall mounting for that size if you have the space. Also recommend checking out suggested calibration settings from a professional site to see if you like it better than the defaults.

Still great nearly a year of use
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Let's keep this short: Pros + XXL size. Can't beat that. Amazing 4k viewing experience + allows bitstream sound pass through for your digital sound converter (I paired it to a nakamichi 7.2.4) + most streaming apps available and easy to use + great image for LED LCD + Allows external storage to be plugged in Cons: - flaky network connection - in extremely dark scenes you can see the LED zones. Hasn't been a problem in any movie I can remember. - Does not self update. Ever. I have to update it via USB by hand and check for updates on my laptop manually - Photos only allowed from your samsung account. Nothing a $25 chromecast cant fix though.

Amazing quality
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought it in 2019 .. great TV. With as big tv as this it is always gonna seem that longer you wait, better tech you will get. This is 82 inch, QLED, not edge lit, Pros: sound is amazing. I regret getting sound-bar with it . It is not needed for routine use.. Cons: no samsung one connect box, price . Doesnot connect well to my bose soundbar.

Image great, interface needs work
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Quality of image is phenomenal, as expected from this model. Interface is clunky but usable. Ambient mode is not a reason to buy this tv, good idea but buggy and cannot display but only a few of my own images unless I have a Samsung Phone. Disappointed in this feature.

Only lasted about 3 years
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Owned this tv for about three years and when the screen started going out. Im glad I purchased the five year extended warranty. Other then the screen starting to mess up the tv worked great.

Q: QuestionHow far apart are the legs from the center?
Asked by Doug123.
- A:Answer Samsung has done a fantastic job with the legs on these TVs... they can be positioned at 3 different locations: narrow, medium, and wide. And it is simple to insert the legs where you need them. I set mine up in the middle (medium) position and it worked out perfect for me. And the hidden cables work great too!

Q: QuestionBought a “Mocha” Audioquest hdmicable to connect Mini-Genie to 82” Qled 8 tv. Cable has special attachment to it on one end that says: DBS Dielectric Bias System. Has a push button that turns on green light when hold it down. How to connect to improve pic
Asked by PkN.
- A:Answer I too have a Mini-Genie connected to my 82" Q8. However, I'm not familiar with the cable you described; I simply use a standard HDMI cable to connect the two devices and have no problems

Q: QuestionWhat about the voltage and cycles: 110/240 50/60 cycles
Asked by Guille.
- A:Answer I’m not an electrician, but I believe that this cycle is letting you know that the tv is capable of using 110 outlets like here in America. Many countries run on 220, they are just letting the consumer know it can operate on either, you may want to verify this directly with Samsung.

Q: QuestionCan it be mounted on the wall
Asked by Joer.
- A:Answer Of course. That's where I've got mine.

Q: QuestionWhat is the minimum distance do you recommend from an 82” TV? Is appx 10’ enough distance from TV?
Asked by Joe.
- A:Answer That's about what I've got in my home theater, and it works fine. But individuals' vision varies, especially as we get older, so it might be a good idea to try it out in the store. The sales team I worked with was very helpful.
