A: If you don't choose to store milk in the gallon bins located on the right side door, than you will have to slide back one of two sliding shelves. None of the shelves are tall enough to accommodate a gallon container.
Q: Is the Stainless steel on the chef collection the same as the regular 4 door flex
A: No the doors are covered with some kind of clear film. This sounds cheap but isn't. Gives the door a somewhat shinny but extremely smooth and easy to clean surface. This coating also cuts way down on fingerprints from the kids! Only downside is magnets won't stick to doors to hang kids stuff on!
Q: Is the use of sodastream cartridges optional?
A: it optional. If you don't want to use a soda stream canister, you don't have to. However, you can still use plain water even though the soda stream is installed. theres a lever to switch between water and sparkling. Chef collection has this feature. If this feature is not for you, theres a another samsung refrigerator with similar door feature without soda stream.

A: 14-15 inches deep on the counter top depth version the others maybe bigger. Ps have had one a month or so and love it.

A: I think there's a samsung non-chef collection that's cheaper and has the four door option without the soda stream. I saw it at the Best Buy store
