Q: Is this monitor glossy or matte because the 32 inch variation of this monitor is matte.
A: I'd have to say the 43" is Glossy, I can see reflections even when its off but I have it in a over lit room.
Q: is this a computer and a tv?
A: yes... you can watch free tv and change it to the option internet check email you tube etc. and there more feature
Q: Does the USB-C port on the back of the display function as an Input port?
A: Yes. Ibhave hooked my phone through this port and it also charges it at the same time or you cam view your phone through the monitor and download pictures and documents too.
Q: Can you split the screen to work on 1 side and stream tv on the other side?
A: I'm going to disagree with the previous responder. I own the M7 32" version and the same confusion ruled there. Essentially, Samsung's promo pictures makes it look like the screen has multiple inputs displayed at the same time. This would be either Picture in Picture (PIP) or Picture by Picture (PBP. Those specs are missing from the datasheet and I can't find any reference to them in the 43" user manual (which also covers the other M7/M5 models). Net net is that I do not believe that this series of models supports PIP or PBP. For me that's important. If it's important to you and the onboard smarts are less important, then I'd suggest you look at the LG 43UN700 - better picture, supports PIP/PBP, won't have the flakey wifi but is these days (of egregious price hiking using pandemic and supply chain as an excuse) around 600 bucks. hth Dingo
Q: Can this monitor be mounted on the wall?
A: Yes it is flat and not curved.
A: The weight without the stand is 18.7 lbs, and there are plenty of monitor arms that support this weight. Also ensure the arm is compatible with the 200 mm mounting screws. Most arms are designed for 100 mm, so you will probably need an adaptor bracket.
Q: Is this considered a G-SYNC® Monitor?
A: Probably not. After using it for a week, I did not see any G-Sync functions in the monitor menu system or product literature.
