Q: What are the width and height dimensions ?
A: 49 inch TV is 43 1/2 inches wide, about 27-28 inches high on the stand. I have it on top of a Zvox sound base and that added 3.5 inches to the height, so measure your space before you buy any TV.
A: Yes. The remote can be used manually. It has a very nice layout to it.
Q: I would like to use my Bose headphones with 3.5mm plug with this set? What adaptor(s) would I need?
A: It will plug right in. I have a 20' extension with no apparent audio loss on mine.
A: Yes it’s glossy but not as bad as some of the TVs I’ve owned before
A: No. No ads other than regular TV commercial breaks. I suppose you might see an ad if you are running an app, but I haven't seen any ads on those either.
A: Yes, but Direct TV will need to provide an extra input box if you want 4K television content. The good news is that the interpolation software on this TV is excellent for conversion to 4K display and if directv ever gets more than 4 lousy 4k channels, it might become worth it to get the 4k box. I didn't bother, but that doesn't mean I won't get 4k from them if they have more to offer.
Q: is this hdr good enough in picture quality or is it just able to play hdr content
A: It does really good job upscaling regular image but in HDR is stunning. Remember HDR is the future.
Q: Does this model support the xfinity stream app by Comcast?
A: The answer from Comcasr / Xfinity is "NO." That would obviously undercut their cable service. Apparently, a TV (even an Android TV) isn't considered to be a "Device."
