I love this Camera and I got the Kit with Sony Bag and Extra Lens 55-210 Zoom , I sold my D5300 Nikon, and this camera blows it away, and with the Sony Play Memories Apps you can get for it, I was able to do Time Lapses that move! Pan, Zoom etc.., and All kinds of other nifty programs you can buy, like Star Trails, Fun! and the Pictures blow my mind! The Kit Lens is Just Awesome, don't let people tell you that they just think every kit lens sucks, go on Facebook and look up the sony A6000 group, over 11,000 members and see their pictures with kit lens, just amazing, most popular Camera out there I believe.. Mirrorless! is the way to go, glad i did not invest in Nikon lenses, but you can buy and adapter and use other brand lenses with this camera!!

Bought the camera in anticipation of an upcoming trip. Took great photos and easy handling. Within two weeks camera wouldn't recognize one of the lenses and often would black out. Luckily has a warranty; sent it to Sony for repair last week. Hoping issue will be resolved. When I first took it to Best Buy I was told that I wasn't the first to have returned with such a problem (something they neglected to tell me about when I went to purchase!).

I needed a camera to take great quality pictures of my service dog. This camera.. I wish I can rate it more than 5 stars.. First, there are so many different settings to choose from "night, fast moving object, so on". 2nd, I absolutely love the setting where you take a picture and the camera automatically focuses on the subject and blurs the background. 3rd. It can capture 11 pictures in 1 second on shooting mode. This camera is fantastic. 4th, when you want to send your picture to your smart phone, all you have to do is "send to smartphone" the camera will pop up a wifi name, join that wifi on your phone and boom! Those pictures are now on your phone! Simple. Easy. Quality photos. I love it! I can take a picture from extreme distance, and it still gives me quality pictures! Wish I have known about this camera sooner! I was definitely hesitant paying Over $ 500 for a camera.. But I definitely don't regret my decision!

You make it what you want! It can be a very nice point and shoot very easy to use or, if you know a lot about photography, a very sophisticated and flexible camera. The lens kit is not top notch, but it is very convenient and a good deal. If you want better, you will have to spend hundreds more for prime lenses. For most users, this kit is good enough. Buy a spare battery and a wall charger: charging the battery through your computer is a sad joke.

I bought this with intentions of starting a small photography business. After some serious research on Mirrorless cameras, I decided the Sony-A6000 was for me. It has a TON of options and features I have yet to research. I primarily have tried out the 55-210mm OSS lens that comes with the kit. It has been extremely crisp and fast while shooting action/sports video. Very pleased customer from Park County, Montana!

Absolutely love this camera! I bought it as a smaller alternative to my Nikon D90 for travel. I expected it to be "good enough" for family vacations, but I'm honestly contemplating just getting rid of the Nikon now. This camera is amazing! Great speed, photo quality is fantastic, and the size is perfect. Two drawbacks that some may have issue with (but they didn't affect me) - fewer lens options available than what you would find for a typical DSLR, and the sensor is fully exposed when switching lenses (no mirror), so make sure you have something to clean the inevitable dust off.

The camera was a graduation gift for my daughter. She has a friend who was a photographer for Sports Illustrated (before he went back to Med School). He was impressed, so that's probably enough said but I've got a couple more comments. The camera is very fast so if you like sports or night events you are looking at the right camera. We got the zoom lens too and she was in Ireland where the Disney people have an area pretty much under control for the next Star Wars film. She had just a few seconds to take pictures from a distance and without getting caught...not a problem.

I have used a lot of different point a shoot cameras, but this time I wanted one that you could change the lenses and take really close up pictures. This camera is pretty easy to use. I watched hundreds of you tube videos, to learn all of the settings, and am still learning as I use it, but this camera takes beautiful pictures!
