Q: Can you make adjustments, zoom, etc with remote or just monitor status?
A: No. On off start stop. Save money and just use your phone.
Q: This does not work with Hero 9. Per Gopro!!!
A: There are two remotes by GoPro. This one does work with the HERO9 Black. The other remote is called the Smart Remote and it works with several of the earlier models of GoPro cameras.
Q: while recording will this allow me to add bookmarks?
A: Yes, the lower button on the left side of The Remote will allow you to mark HiLight tags in your videos. Note that HiLights will only work if one camera is paired to The Remote. If you are controlling multiple GoPro cameras at the same time, that feature will not work.
Q: Will this remote work with the GOPRO Fusion 360?
A: This specific remote will not work with the Fusion. For that camera, look for the GoPro Smart Remote.

A: The Remote itself does not track GPS data. Some GoPro cameras do have a GPS feature, but that feature is only found in the cameras, and not in accessories like The Remote.
A: Yes, the HERO9 Black can shoot time lapse videos and time lapse photos. The options for these include intervals at 0.5, 1, 2, 5, 10, and 30 seconds; as well as 1, 2, 5, 30 and 60 minutes.
