I’ve been using tiles for a while, this was my second time getting them and these were the newer models that were supposed to have longer battery life, not true! The sound is very Minuit so it’s hard to find it even when it’s just in the next room. Also is very slow at updating your location so if you lost your keys or wallet Goodluck. For the price I’ve expected better, i loved it at first in the first series because they were the only ones out really with a gps tracker and for the size. Plus after dropping like $50 for this 4 back the trackers didn’t even last past 5 months, although that’s what they guarantee over a year atleast. Only 1 lasted up to 8 months i believe. I recommend you try the Pebblebee instead! I got one for the wallet and my keys and it was only $20-30 i believe. it’s much louder, updates really fast as far as your location, and you don’t need to have the app running in the background for it to work.

I have used the tiles many times, especially to find my keys and my cell pbone. The only downer is that they wear out after just one year. They are a little on the expensive side to replace. Wish I could just buy fresh batteries!

I lose things faithfully and after losing my classroom keys I bought the tiles. It’s helpful when I can’t find my phone or wallet in the same area but sometimes the devices don’t hook up to each other and it’s quite annoying. It’s great most of the time but sometimes frustrating. If you live in a big city where multiple people would have and use this device then losing items outside of your Bluetooth range wouldn’t be as stressful.

This item would be perfect if we could only change out the batteries ourselves! I bought this movie for my best friend and she’s the type that’s always in a hurry. She used this and was able to find her keys and wallet in a few clicks of a button. It’s pretty cool device to have. Perhaps they could make something that has a rechargeable magnetic type of battery charge so that way we don’t open it up but we are able to charge it once in awhile and continue to use it for years to come.

I bought these as I am a professional photographer and was traveling out of the county and had to check lighting gear and stands in two separate pelican cases. It was really handy to see that I could ping the Tiles while on the airplane prior the departure. When I came back into the country, one Case did not make it onto the carousel, but I was able to see it on a map in the app in Chicago O’Hare airport and walk right over to where they had dropped it.
