A: It supports seamless roaming using the router SSID. That is the way it is set-up and working in my home.
A: yes it can I currently have 2 extenders in the house and one in the garage, all different brands and they all work seamlessly together.
Q: Will this work with a U-verse modem.
A: Yes. I have it working with a U-Verse modem. I first bought the AT&T range extender, but it did not work properly so I returned it. This TP LINK AC1750 extender is so much better than the AT&T extender!
Q: Is this compatible with Windows 10
A: Yes, WiFi extenders are universally compatible with WiFi devices and do not rely on operating system compatibility since they function on the network layer, not the application layer.
A: Where are you getting the wifi, do you have it on your router, if so this will pair with your router and your network. 100ft is getting to the outside of its range, depending on and obstructions/walls/ect a signal has to go through. if you try this or any extender, download a wifi meter from the play store to your phone and check your signal strength ant various places/distances.
A: I use this extender in a secondary position to get wi-fi to my rv, which is parked about 50 ft from the primary modem/router setup. Signal is good most of the time, drops occasionally, 1G is more stable than 5G connection.
A: Theoretically, it can help improve connectivity as long as WiFi signal strength/range are the current cause of the issue with your router. However, if the speed issue is due to the router itself or your service, please bear in mind an extender will only repeat the quality of signal it receives from your router. Regards, TP-Link Support

Using it as an Access Point (AP) gives it better performance than a simple Range Extender (RE). No need to try and boost a weak signal to begin with. We have Cat-6 throughout our home, so running this AC1750 from one of our network ports as an AP extends a Wi-Fi signal that our Verizon Wi-Fi 6 router cannot accomplish. We use this TP-Link-AC1750 (RE450) in the basement and a TP-Link-AC2600 (RE650) also as an RE on the 2nd Floor.

As good as it was reviewed. Only issue I had was yard and garage. 17,500 square foot yard is now almost completely covered and the detached garage has a signal. Read the instructions and setup is fast and easy if you have a modern router they will find each other with two button pushes. I just purchased a new wifi modem and it didn't connect to the 5G the first time but now it is right as rain.

The TP Link WiFi extender does a good job at extending WiFi coverage. I put it in the mud room to extend coverage to the security camera on the garage, and I no longer have interruptions in recordings. I give this product 3 stars because of the size and price of the product and difficult setup. The product is about the size (height and width) of two hands together. It also has a bright blue light that you can’t turn off. It’s somewhat of a good thing if you want to use it as a night light.
