Used for gaming.
||Posted .I purchased this to install Microsoft Flight Simulator as it had nearly filled my factory installed SSD. I had to re-format to NTFS first, but once I installed the game on the easystore it has ran perfectly fine. Might be placebo but I think it even improved my loading times. I moved some other games onto it as well and will use it as my gaming drive from here on.

Solid State Advantage

I have used external hard drives for my Macbook in the past for back-up, but not as regularly as I should because they just didn’t seem straight-forward enough for my tech-challenged usage. This drive is more intuitive to use (for me) and so quick compared to my old drive. I like how light it is, and also that it’s more durable than my existing external HD, since there are no moving parts. It’s a better technology for storage and fits well with my laptop’s SSD, making for a lighter and cooler unit. I also understand this was purchased as a Deal of the Day at an irresistible price.

Just amazing how far technology has come
||Posted .Owned for 2 months when reviewed.A great little external backup drive to handle all of my main PC backup needs. Just amazing how far technology has come. I was initially surprised by it's small shape and light weight, but it's the real deal (suggestion: I use some velcro tape to secure this to the side of case because it can get knocked over so easily).

Boots and runs operating system Mac mine 2014
||Posted .Owned for 1 week when reviewed.Used it to upgrade Mac mini with latest operating system. It runs the operating system and is so much faster than the internal drive. It booted up in just over a minute compared to over 5 minutes on the internal. Web pages even load faster.
