A: You run Disk Utility. It's an app in the Utilities folder. You can find that in Finders "Go" menu. If you have trouble with Disk Utility I'm sure someone at Best Buy can give you a quick demo. You never need to install the drive maker's software. Never. If the drive comes with files, you can safely delete them. Note that reformatting deletes all files.
A: You can but I would suggest buying an enclosure and a standard SSD - I had this hooked up and it froze a lot and the transfer speeds are faster than OEM platter drive inside the xbox but lower than a standard SSD/enclosure combo. I bought this as the result of an article online that specifically listed this drive as their choice for the xbox - the article was wrong. I didn't have the freezes that I encountered before I attached the drive and I haven't had them again since I removed it.

A: Yes, it is compatible with Xbox One.
A: Probably you have a laptop with 32GB storage, windows 10 (the upgrade to the next version 1903) needs at least 8GB of space, having the external SSD it won't fix your problem. The best solution would be (save in the external SSD all your important files) wipe out the internal storage , install the last version of Windows 10 (1903) then install all the software you use in the external SSD.
Q: Can this be used with a Dell Optiplex 755 that has 2.0 USB ports?
A: Yes, all USB 3.0 drives are backwards compatible with earlier USB connections. You won’t, however, be able to take advantage of USB 3.0 speeds without the proper port. This will function as a USB 2.0 drive.
