Q: Info shows that it works with SIRI... can it be set up and controlled by Amazon app and ALEXA .
A: Yes it works with Alexa, Siri, and google assistants
A: Yes. I actually has 2 in the driveway and 1 in the front door. It will work as suggested if your wifi is has a strong signal outside your house but if not it will be a pain. I have the xfi and got the xpods. Put one in the garage. Sometimes it doesn't work but most of the time it does.
A: Yes they do dim from 5% to 100% brightness
Q: Are these able to connect to a 5GHz network?
A: According to with WIZ technology sheet they use 2.4GHz. https://www.wizconnected.com/en-US/consumer/technology/ in the "Light with a Brain" section.
Q: Is there a way to reset these when they suddenly stop working?
A: Yes actually. Click the setting in the app/click the bulb you want at the top/scroll to the bottom/press delete. That will rest the bulb back to factory setting.
Q: Can theses be used in ceiling fans?
A: Yes these can be used in ceiling fans. Be cautious on the size of the bulb you’re purchasing though. Some of the wiz light bulbs are larger than conventional bulbs, and others are very close to your usual bulb
