The MSI MAG401QR 40" Ultrawide QHD Gaming Monitor is an outstanding choice for gamers and professionals seeking a high-performance, versatile display. Its 40-inch ultrawide QHD screen with a resolution of 3440x1440 delivers stunning clarity and vibrant colors, making it perfect for immersive gaming and multitasking. The ultrawide aspect ratio provides an expansive view, ideal for open-world games or productivity tasks requiring additional screen real estate. The gaming performance of the MSI MAG401QR is truly impressive, with a 155Hz refresh rate and fast response time delivering ultra-smooth visuals and virtually no lag, even in fast-paced games like Rust and World of Warcraft. The inclusion of FreeSync Premium further enhances the gaming experience by eliminating screen tearing. Connectivity is another standout feature, with DisplayPort, HDMI, USB, and a highly versatile Type-C port accommodating a wide range of devices. I’ve connected mine to both my Alienware gaming laptop and MacBook, and the ability to seamlessly switch between computers with the press of a button has been a game-changer for my setup. This monitor is ready for buisness and play. The MSI MAG401QR boasts a sleek black design that is modern and understated, fitting effortlessly into any setup. While its large size may not suit smaller desks, and its built-in speakers might not satisfy audiophiles, these minor drawbacks are outweighed by its seamless blend of functionality and aesthetics, offering outstanding value and a top-tier experience.

HUGE, heavy, and amazing display!
I was nervous getting this online since I was not able to see how it functions before i ordered it, bur it was a great decision! I use this for gaming and it was veen wonderful, good display, crystal clesr imsge. I havent had issues with dead pixels or cheap materials. The stand is higg wuality but if yoy plan to mount it make sure it can support the weight. I have a high quality mount i used for my old 27" curved monitor, it was overkill for that monitor but still wasnt enough to hold this one. I would and have recommended this to others, id argue this is more worth your time and money than the odyssey series.

Very affordable 40" 2k 155hz Monitor
The Mag401qr is a very affordable monitor for those who want a large monitor but dont want to spend almost $1,000 for one. This monitor has a 40" 2k 155hz screen. Even has a Type C with 65w and you can even download the software to manage the settings without having to use the buttons on the back of the monitor.

Nice image quality, half-baked software and KVM
I just want to first say that the image quality is very nice and as a monitor, it works well. However, the KVM function is flaky (limited USB), there is only ONE DisplayPort input, and I just confirmed with MSI support that it is not possible to change inputs if the monitor is in standby. Why might that be an issue? Consider this situation: I have my desktop PC connected via DisplayPort (because I want the fastest refresh rate for gaming). I turn that off and the monitor goes into standby. I later decide to plug in my work laptop (fresh Windows install, latest display drivers) into HDMI 1. If the monitor's Auto Scan setting on the source is set to "off", the ONLY ways to wake up the monitor to switch it to HDMI 1 are to either send a signal over DisplayPort (e.g. turn my desktop on) or unplug the power, plug it back in, and quickly open the OSD menu before the monitor goes back into standby. I have never used a monitor that you couldn't manually wake up and change the input. For size reference, the photo is with two 24" 1080p monitors.
