Q: Is this device compatible with a 5GHz wifi?
A: Apparently not. Only 2.4.

A: The label on the back says: 15A. Max, 1,875 Watts Resistive 8A. Max 1000W Tungsten 1/3 Horsepower Why the difference between a Tungsten and a Resistive load, I dunno. But I CAN tell you that 1 horsepower =740 watts so a 1/3 Horsepower motor =246.667 watts. It also says it's "Raintight" so incidental wetting can be tolerated, but the instructions note to use it on a GFCI outlet as well. You should assume those ratings are the total output (both outlets combined, or out of ONE outlet only)
