A must have!
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Could not have gotten a better item! It’s perfect for my Ring doorbell, just the right size to put on my sofa table next to me. We watch videos, play music, search recipes, set alarms etc etc. Will probably get a few more to give out to family!

Definitely a great convenience
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love Echo Show 5 , it’s really relaxing to watch our photos from the past years , and nice to ask Alexa to play music, I love calling my daughter and her mother in law and us all talking and seeing each other we live in different states we feel like we are living closer together than we do, I am purchasing a couple more for gifts to stay connected with my mom whose in her 80’s , over all Echo has added a great convenience to our lives and made keeping in touch easier especially with those that live far away I also want to mention I leave for work at 515 am in winter it’s really cold or bad weather I can look at echo for temperature and ask for driving conditions in my area this is extremely helpful when I order from Amazon echo let’s me know date to expect delivery without looking up or if it’s been delivered at doorstep I can also have a order placed through echo for delivery I honestly find this very helpful and useful never really thought I’d need anything like this but now I can’t imagine my day without it I do have smart lights and have them connected to Alexa and echo can turn lights on and off in any room I say or select through app on phone if not home If needed cheering up she’ll even tell you cute funny jokes !!

Call it what you like.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’m not very tech savvy. No worries since it’s easy to hook and set up. Adding pictures, watching movies, asking questions like the temperature or a recipe, maybe a bedtime story or a joke. Whether you are sick or just lazy or a romantic evening, just add some smart bulbs so that you ask your new bff to turn on and off the lights. Depending on your eye sight (Although the picture is beautiful and clear) and the location of your item will determine on the size you get. In this case, size does matter. Well, I hope you enjoy your Alexa or Ziggy as much as i do!

Love the echo show
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was Google nest doorbell user but in order to get live screen instantly you have to buy a more expensive nest hub for this figure that Echo show has on all there size screen. I'm get their 10 inch echo show soon. I now have two 5 inch and one 8 inch shows in addition to a echo dot. I'm convincing most of my family and friends to get Ring with a echo show which i enjoy installing for them. Love their products and now it actually listens to commands alot more accurately.

Q: QuestionWhat is the difference between this (with exception of a new color blue) new Echo Show from its older version?
Asked by Nana60.
- A:Answer Hello, Nan60! The main difference is the upgraded camera on the device. The camera is now a 2 MP vs a 1 MP camera. The other differences are the ability to look in while you are away with the built-in camera and the ability to control compatible smart home devices with your motion. Have a great day!

Q: QuestionI do not want Alexa in my home. Will this work without setting Alexa up to view video feeds with Ring?
Asked by BandMom.
- A:Answer BandMom, I'd love to help with your question! The Echo Show 5 comes with Alexa enabled, but you can press the mute button on top of the device if you would like to disable voice commands, and stop Alexa from listening. To view your Ring video feeds, without using voice commands through Alexa, you can open up your devices list and select your Ring Video Camera by following these steps: 1. Swipe inward from the right side of your Echo Show's screen. If you tap on your screen, you'll see a little arrow appear on the right side of the screen to help you decide where to swipe. 2. Select Smart Home from the list of icons. 3. Find your Ring Video Camera in your list of devices and click on it to display the camera footage. I hope this helped answer your question, have an amazing day!

Q: QuestionDoes the Echo Show 5 (2nd gen) work with ring doorbell & floodlights?
Asked by ET2021.
- A:Answer Hi ET2021, The Echo Show 5 does work with the Ring Doorbell & Floodligths. Before starting, you'll need to download Amazon's Alexa app, if you haven't already done so 1. Open Alexa. In the upper left-hand corner, you'll see three horizontal bars. Tap them. 2. In the menu that appears, tap Skills & Games. 3. On the next screen, search for Ring in the search box. 4. After you've found Ring, tap the "enable" button. 5. Next, Alexa will ask you to sign in to your Ring account. Doing so will link your Ring account to your Alexa account. 6. After signing in, you'll be asked to discover devices. Tap the Discover Devices button. All of your 7. Ring devices should appear and be connected to Alexa automatically. If you don't want Alexa to integrate with a particular Ring device, simply tap Forget on the right side. Thank you

- A:Answer Hello Eash! While you can't specifically set up Google Photos or Apple iCloud Photos directly with the Echo Show, you can definitely use the Amazon Photos app and use that service with the photos you have by allowing your photos to be uploaded to Amazon Photos automatically. This will allow you to use the Amazon Photos service to show all photos that are uploaded to the app on an Echo Show device. I hope this helps answer your question and that you have a awesome day!
