A: No it's not refurbished I called and spoke to a representative over the phone and she said it's brand new With a 1 year warranty. I even went to the store today to check it out and seeing is believing this laptop is absolutely beautiful and a steal for the price. Remember folks this is a $849.99 laptop plus tax, the quality is excellent and comparing it to Acer, Msi, Hp, it's a beautiful looking laptop with the looks and performance of a $1,000,00 laptop and up. A: 60Hz.
Q: Does this laptop have rgb lighting, if so can you change it?
A: The keyboard is illuminated and can be changed to no light or many different color choices. here is how you can change the color in the keyboard = Search up Armoury Crate on the Start Menu ( bottom left of screen white space bar type in armoury ) the armoury crate app will show up . click on it and you might be asked to agree to its term of service. After that, click on Device, then click System then click Lighting and you are able to change how the keyboard behaves and its color.
Q: Why can’t I find this lap top anywhere but at Best Buy?
A: I was wondering this myself. It must be a black friday BB exclusive that has a 60hz panel unlike the model on asus official website. Hence why the price is cheaper! Still a good deal but not the same screen as the other model.

A: I took mine apart to find out what type of ram this laptop needs and I have installed the following: Crucial 8GB Single DDR4 2666 MT/s (PC4-21300) SR X8 SODIMM 260-Pin Memory - CT8G4SFS8266 Laptop is running fine with the ram I bought and installed.

A: Battery life is surprisingly good. I ran about 90 minutes off battery on performance mode and still had somewhere around 75% left.
