Really good if you travel a lot
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Its really good laptop, only worth buying if your travelling a lot (cant build pc). I use it for work purpose (software(like photoshop, clip studio, premier pro, maya)) and then for gaming as well i didn't use if for streaming yet but ill test that someday and also i do attach it to my xp pen artist 24 pro it works smoothly. Highly recommend only if you travel a lot because you can build a 4090 pc in the same price.

All around very good laptop
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A very good laptop all around. My unit has some minor backlight bleed in the top left corner and a few small spots along the lower edge. The backlight bleed only noticible in a pitch black room with a pure black screen. Backlight bleed is a tricky subject, because some panels are excessive, while others are very minor andmany people confuse IPS glow with backlight bleed (taking a picture with a cell phone is IPS glow...). Backlight bleed also has the tendancy to lessen with time as the panel goes through cycles of heating up and colling down; adhesive and pressure loosens. One big reservation I had about this laptop was Armory Crate. I do not view it as the bloated mess that others have mention online. I view it as a solid application, at least for a laptop. With static RGB and Turbo profile, it takes ~50-60mb of ram and ZERO percent CPU when idle. Gaming on the laptop is very nice. At lan parties, friends have commented how the laptop is much quieter than others' laptops when playing Apex and other fastpaced games. Only real annoyance I have is how BIOS updates are forced upon you with Windows updates. There have been numerous stories of people undervolting their CPUs and having issues with BIOS updates. I haven't undervolted and have had no BIOS issues. Just note that they take a bit to install completely (3-5 minutes at least). Overall, I'd say this is a very good laptop for the cost. Are the specs overkill? Yes. But do you get your money's worth compared to the competition? Yes.

Gaming on the go with no compromises
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought it to play diablo 4 and other games on a trip, and it exceeded all of my expectations. It fit perfectly in my carry on luggage, it wasn’t a hassle to carry around. Games run smooth and high FPS with max settings. No need to compromise at all. I’ve been spoiled by the OLED that I usually play games on with my desktop, but even still the laptop screen was impressive. The low latency of 3ms on the screen made gaming feel very responsive and snappy. I typically play on a 1ms OLED, but I couldn’t feel any difference with the additional 2ms. It’s basically a portable version of my $6000 desktop PC. I would highly recommend purchasing this laptop if it’s in your budget, and you don’t want to compromise at all while gaming on the go. The power brick is slightly smaller than others I’ve seen which was a plus, however it is still quite large.

Fantastic gaming laptop
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First ever gaming laptop and I’m extremely impressed this laptop is huge and I love the screen size. Now if your planning to throw this beast in your backpack good luck I did find a nice sleeve and business style hard case for it but no luck on a dedicated backpack, keep in mind the power brick is of substantial size as well and is the only way to truly get the best performance while gaming. I was hesitant about backlight bleed and fan noise as far as backlight bleed I couldn’t notice which is a good thing and fan noise is not a problem at all after a week of 2hrs a day gaming I finally had 6hrs playtime and the fans were Noticeable but even without headphones I had no problem hearing the audio built in speakers are quite nice and had no clipping with the volume cranked up the performance is fantastic just straight out of the box without tweaking the settings I was getting around 180 plus fps on mw3 which is fantastic coming from a ps5 all in all I highly recommend it if you don’t want a desktop this is the way to go!

I love this laptop.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.this laptop it is a beast, so beautiful and strong; it can run all games. I like how portable it is and at the same time so big. The only thing I would complain about would be the battery, it could be better, but those components are way too strong for a battery...

ROG Strix 18" Review
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is definitely a premium laptop. I wish the delete key wasn't displaced from normal keyboards. The screen is beautiful. It runs smooth. Sometimes the hotkeys for volume stop working and I have to reboot it. The fan would sometimes not start up after putting it to sleep but I think they finally fixed this with an update.
