A popular, selfish high schooler (Zoey Deutch) keeps reliving the same day over and over again, which ends with her and her friends getting into a fatal car accident. In time, she must learn how to prevent the accident while becoming a better, kinder person to those around her. Halston Sage, Logan Miller, Kian Lawley, Elena Kampouris, and Jennifer Beals co-star. Directed by Ry Russo-Young, this drama was based on the YA novel of the same name by Lauren Oliver.~Jack Rodgers
What if you had to relive the same day over and over again until you were able to get things right (the way they should be). This is the premise of Before I Fall. It takes the comedy out of Ground Hog Day and makes it a drama with feelings. A good watch and also a good lesson for youngsters about bullying.
Every snotty, mean, pick on others in high school should be made to watch this. Yes, high school is a "blip" but 3 or 4 years of this kind of cruelty never leaves the person being picked on, bullied, hurt in so many ways. Maybe the change we need in this country starts with them. Respect and kindness to people goes a long way to improve their futures. A good one without blood, gore, evil fantasy games or disgusting movies encouraging violence and bullying and death.
I typically don't like "teen-themed" films, but this movie is on a more cerebral level. Very well-acted and done from a polished and smart script, the film keeps you involved and invested in each character. Very much worth the purchase.
The plot overall is a fresh idea that is worth the watch. This movie is based on a book which I have yet to read. This is a great movie to show the teenagers of today's society. It sends a strong message of your words having consequences (good or bad). I would definitely recommend anyone to give this a watch (even at the retail price)!
