I know a lot of people believe in buying generic ink for their printers, however, I am not one of them. I have tried the generic route and have always come back to buying Canon Ink for my Canon printer. In my opinion, I get the best quality printing and the highest number of sheets per ink cartridge over generic ink. When you bring it down to the dollars and cents, I'm paying about the same price for the Canon as I would for generic and am getting a higher quality product that was actually made for my printer.

We were running low on ink in our Canon Pixma and I was going to head to a local BB competitor because they're closer to our home, then remembered that Best Buy has 15% off of their ink products (I believe that doesn't count on HP products, but I'm not 100% sure of that). Once I priced it out and then figured in their Awesome and Quick free shipping, it was a no brainer to just order it and have it delivered. The ink arrived packaged nicely and worked as expected. I can't complain about that.

Bought OEM cartridges, at significantly higher cost than compatible cartridges, because I assumed they wouldn't leak. I was wrong. A few leaked as I was replacing them. Very messy, and extremely difficult to get off my hands (it actually took several days to wash the ink off). When I called Canon, they were very apologetic, tried to be helpful in getting the ink off (although they didn't have many good ideas other than using cold water), and did send me a complete set (5) cartridges at no charge.

I have been using this type of ink for the past 4 years. I usually found amazon or staples to be cheaper but when best buy was able to match prices, I decided to go best buy due to store pickup (to avoid mail being lost or stolen). A couple of years store pickup at queens place was a bit slow but I have to admit that they had really improved. Wait time was better than before, nicer staff, and more importantly my order came in excellent brand new condition. No

I had been buying the big bulky, EXPENSIVE all in one printers for several years. After the second one bit the dust, I looked at Best Buy. I was reluctant about buying a cheaper model, but was it ever the right way to go. 300 dollars less than I had been paying before, and it's still going now. This ink system is simple to use, and lasts an adequate amount of time. You are going to pay to print at home, whether it is in the machine, or in the ink.

Best Buy is the only place I buy my ink cartridges for my Canon printer. It has good print quality and I love the ease of ordering online, having it delivered to my home and no delivery costs. My only complaint is the price which I believe is high for ink cartridges. I wish I had known this when I bought the Canon printer. Next time I'll know to check on that before purchasing a printer. But the ink itself is quality and I have no complaints there.

Have been buying Canon ink cartridges for this printer for many years now. Have never had a problem with any cartridges. Only negative is higher price of OEM. Have paid the price of the printer many times over in ink. Won't buy a newer ink efficient printer until Canon makes one that has all the function this old MX860 has.

I like to buy my ink separately by the color needed because I find that I use some colors more than others so that I run out more of 1 color than another. But best buy did not carry them this way on this visit. I think that I will find that I will be buying more so that I can only get the certain ones that I have run out of and the lesser used colors I will have excess number of them lying around.
