My wife thought I needed a small refrigerator in my workshop to store beer and pop so when my friends come over, I have some drinks for them without going in and out of the house. I picked this one because of the ratings and the coolness factor (mostly the glass door). I've got to say that I am very pleased with it. The only thing I did, was added 1/8" plexiglass to the shelves. The wire on the shelves are spaced too far apart and the bottles and cans were a little unstable. Much better with the plexiglass. I drilled some strategically placed holes (about 1 1/2" dia.) to ensure air circulation. Works great. Nice and quiet. The fact that you can have the interior light constantly on is also cool. Keeps the beverages nice and cold. Very pleased with it.

This is a perfect little beverage fridge for a game room, dorm room or anywhere you can think to put it. It runs quiet and keeps a nice cool temp. The door is lockable, which is a nice feature if you want to keep adult beverages in there (I do, and have kids, so this is a GREAT feature). I would highly recommend this fridge.

So far so good.....the frig came in perfect condition....I let it sit for approximately 24 hours after getting it home....I had heard that if the frig had been transported on its side it would need to sit up-right for at least six hours so that the internal fluid could settle......since I had no idea when the store got the item shipped in or how they received it I played it safe and though it better to be safe than sorry.
Since plugging it in it has been flawless as far as interior temp and operation....however, the outside of the frig became EXCEPTIONALLY warm once the frig was plugged in....I have plenty of space around the frig so this appears to be normal operation as the frig is getting plenty of fresh all from all sides. Nevertheless, the beers are cold and the frig hold a TON of them......as is always the case, I'd prefer just a bit more room, especially on the bottom level, to hold more beverages. Shocking I know, but you always want more right?
I'd recommend this frig to my friends or anyone else who asks......the next best option is buying a low end cheap full size......but then you have the headache of moving it. With this frig, if you need to take it from garage, to man-cave, to the office, and then back to your home it can be done easily and likely with no need for help.

i absolutely love this beverage cooler and i can't wait to use it when i move out. the design is absolutely flawless and it keeps drinks to the perfect coldness that any drink should be. the only two complaints i have are that it is a very heavy item and kind of awkward to lift without a second person.. but i was able to lift it on my own up a flight of stairs and into my room. i am of course in my 20s and a very strong male haha. the other complaint that i have is that there is a plastic smell that won't go away. I'm going to eventually empty out the contents of the unit and use an all purpose cleaner and try to get it to smell better. that said, those two cons really do not out weigh the pros that this product has to offer... lots of shelving options that can be taken advantage of and it even has a light on the inside which is a great feature for those times late at night and i can't get back to sleep so i sneak in 1 more beer before i hop back into bed with the girlfriend.
i think i speak for 1 specific demographic which is a college aged guy/ young adult so this product is great for that kind of lifestyle and works especially well for parties. but i think this could also be great for anyone of any age even an older guy that needs just that 1 thing to make a full bar to really be complete... add this and you won't even have to serve people all night they can serve themselves.
also one more great thing i love about this appliance is that it runs very quiet. never wakes me up at night, sometimes i don't even notice it running and it doesn't even run that often. great product at a great value. very pleased about this purchase and would highly recommend it to anyone that doesn't want to ever leave their room just to get something to drink haha

Overall I'm very pleased with the unit and bought this unit over more expensive units due to user reviews. It is a shame that none of the stores stock this unit, I did have to return my first one as it didn't work and after waiting 10 days for the first one then another 10 days for the second, I was getting a little tired of waiting.
The second unit works great, keeps beverages nice and cold. Only major draw back, which I would have noticed if any of these were available to look at in the stores, it's definitely for cans. My soda's are 20 ounce bottles that except for the bottom shelf need to be laid down on the shelves, no big deal the unit still holds enough. Cans of beer lay down nicely on the top shelf.
I did notice on other reviews about people building them into cabinetry, NOTE this is a freestanding unit and not meant to be built in. We do have this beverage center in a family room in the back of the house, so the slight noise doesn't bother us. This unit does have a fan to keep the cold air circulating during cooling which is a major plus.

The fridge is very good. Like the reversible door. The shelves are spaced in a bad way. Bottles do not stand very well, they tend to tip. Cans are fine.

After comparison shopping, I decided on this little compact beverage refrigerator. It is very sleek and modern looking, with glass doors. This feature allows users to get a good look inside before opening the door. It also gives one an opportunity to inventory and inspect the interior every time you look at it.
Beyond the good looks of this unit is the quiet operation. It is a very quiet unit, and cools very effectively. The wire shelves are adjustable, as is the temperature.
I will probably end up picking up another one of these gems!
A:AnswerThe temperature range on the DBC120BLS beverage center is 42.8°F ~ 57.2°F. It is not rated as a refrigerator and isn't recommended for long term storage of perishable food.
A:AnswerThe shelves in this unit are adjustable and removable, so you most certainly can lay call wine bottles on their sides. It is important to note though that the shelves do not have individual curved depressions as would be in the case of a wine refrigerator. Still, your wine bottles can fit in there just fine laying down, provided that you are not looking for the exact same type of presentation you will find in a "wine only" refrigerator. Another caveat that would apply to any situation where you are storing both beer and wine in the same unit, is that you would have to select a single temperature that is a happy medium for both beverages.
We have been really impressed with this particular compact refrigerator in both looks and performance. And when you add the versatility of use it is a great package.
A:AnswerThe temperature range on a beverage center is going to be higher than the temperature range on a true refrigerator. The temperature range on this beverage center is 42.8°F ~ 57.2°F.
A:AnswerThis is not a built-in approved product and requires 2-3 inches of space on the sides and rear of the unit for the compressor to breathe. Please note that "building in" this unit will likely cause the compressor to overheat and not cool properly.
