So glad I went to see if Best Buy had a battery that worked for my Nikon cool pix camera! My son was leaving for his Washington trip, and we realized that the camera battery had died. Thankfully, this one worked - otherwise, I was going to have to buy a new camera for him to take. The camera is still going strong after 5 months!

We tested this battery severely at my daughter's college graduation where there was lots of zooming in and out with the video camera. It took all this activity in stride. It will get even more of a workout when we go to Italy this summer. Every indication is that it should do just fine.

I purchased this as a backup battery because the factory original battery that came with the camera would run down with little if any notice and leave me stranded. This battery works well, but the optional external battery charger would make this even more beneficial.

Ok so i took a trip to Disneyland and this battery seriously lasted the whole day and night! I did not need to charge it the whole day I was there! If you are looking for a good battery get this one! it is the best one you will find out there!
