Most amazing stove and oven.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This has been an amazing experience. The time it takes to heat the pot or skillet is hard to believe. Temperature adjustment makes cooking much easier. I am not sure how long it will take for me to get over how it impresses me. I comment to anyone near me every time I use my stove. I do not miss my gas stove at all!

a tragedy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When this range works, it is like a Ferrari- responsive, powerful, and a joy. Sadly, it breaks frequently, and when it breaks the entire appliance is usually out of commission. I loved/hated this appliance. But, I cannot be without a stove for 2-3 weeks several times a year. Best Buy made good by allowing us to return it.

Love this range!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After much research we decided to replace our ceramic top electric range with Electrolux Induction Range. I like the seamless look provided by the slide in model and enjoy many of the benefits of gas with induction cooking: burners are quick to heat and easy to adjust from high to moderate temps. You must have stainless steel cookware for this range, but I love to cook with it anyway. One of my favorite features is the double oven! I've only used the lower oven a few times, but it has cooked evenly. The oven uses the convection fans in the bake setting as well, so it took a while to get used to the noise of the fans, but it wasn't too bad, just unexpected.

Fantastic cooking and baking
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. While this range was much pricier than the four duds I had from Samsung (in less than a year), I wish that I had known about this range in the first place. Unfortunately, it was not, and still is not, widely advertised - thus, Electroluxs is missing out on a vast potential market as it is simply a high quality unit that performs at the optimum. While accustomed to an induction cooktop, I am most satisfied with the roll out shelving in the oven - what a relief not to have large cake pans slide out when the shelves are pulled out. These simply slide on roller bearings and stay flat - no tilting. This range makes cooking and baking a pleasure.

Best oven I have owned
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had a high end JennAir prior to this unit. The JennAir was a complete lemon. The electronics shorted out three separate times, so my wife and I decided to get rid of it. I am glad I did. The Electrolux works beautifully. The induction heating is quick and easy. It is versatile, fast and quiet. Food preparation is faster (i.e. it heats up more quickly then the JennAir). It looks great and has been flawless. I got the four year BB warranty considering my bad experience with the JennAir. Ths is money well spent.

dont buy it!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased the Electrolux cooking range and dishwasher from Best Buy. I had to have the range replaced twice within the warranty period and about two years after purchasing the range the electrical panel died. Upon contacting Electrolux and various repair companies I learned the electric panel alone cost was approximately $1000 and Electrolux had no interest in helping me out as the unit was barely out of warranty. I decided to replace the range since I had so many problems with the unit and felt at this point I could no longer trust this unit nor Electrolux to stand behind their product. I began to think perhaps this was just a fluke. Then, a couple weeks ago the electric panel died on the dishwasher as well. In my almost 50 years of life I have never had these issues with other appliances.

Q: QuestionHow does Model: EW30IS65JS | SKU: 9835142 differ from Model: EW30ES65GB | SKU: 8708295 ?Why is Model: EW30ES65GB | SKU: 8708295 so much less expensive? It's on line reviews are much worse. Does Model: EW30IS65JS | SKU: 9835142 come in black? I am interested in Model: EW30IS65JS | SKU: 9835142 but wonder if the only difference between the two is the stainless steel. Thank you.

- A:Answer Model EW30IS65JS is an Electrolux 30” Built-In Induction Range with Wave-Touch™ Controls. The cooktop of this model has four powerful induction elements and is coupled with an electric oven. EW30ES65GB is an Electrolux 30” Built-In Electric Range with Wave-Touch™ Controls which offers an electric cooktop and an electric oven. The main difference between these two models, aside from the color, is the induction cooktop. If induction is what your looking for, it is important to note that induction technology is more responsive than gas or electric. Induction technology uses sensors that automatically detect the presence of magnetic cookware, activating the induction field and adjusting it to the exact size of the pan. Using electromagnetic energy, heat is transferred directly in the cookware – so the cooktop remains cooler for easy cleanup. Induction allows for more precise control when cooking – you can instantly adjust the heat to a delicate simmer or bring it to a quick boil. And with induction technology, the cookware heats more quickly than on gas or electric cooktops – so cook times are faster, meaning less energy is used.

Q: QuestionQuestion about wave touch controlsI am deciding between the electrolux slide in induction range and a sears model. One concern I have with the Electrolux is the wave control panel. It seemed to me that there were so many controls and they were not that easy to see. My vision isn't 20/20 and I'm not getting any younger! Can you provide information based on your experience with using the control panel? Thanks TAG

- A:Answer It took a little time to get used to the controls, but they become second nature with use.
